Kyro made his way across the main bridge heading into the city of Dahngrest. He stood for a moment, taking in the sight of the whole thing. It was truly something to behold. A city run by people who lived solely by their own rules, and the general rules of the Union. After a few moments, his wings spread out from the sleeves on his back. This was a place of freedom, of self-discovery, and adventure. It had a much better feel to it then the imperial city ever would. So, why not let his wings out? He had nothing to hide, and he would need to make sure he didn't for their venture. He and his new partner, Yvette, as she called herself would have to get an audience with the head of the Union. Harry, grandson of Don Whitehorse. They would have to get approval for forming the guild, which he figured wouldn't be too hard. They already had a set of rules, and knew what they wanted to do.
Turning to his partner in crime, he smiled lightly and waved his arm in the direction of the city.
"Well, what do you think? This is the city of Dahngrest. If we want to get a guild going, we'll need to go see the head of the Union and get approval. It hopefully shouldn't be too hard."
Kyro looked at the city, thinking how how he would be making this his new home, essentially. He and Yvette would obviously travel to wherever they desired, and bring music and fun to those in need of it. On top of it all, he would need to get a violin. He could use one, but it wasn't like he carried one around with him before. He figured it wouldn't be too hard to get one, given that there was or were probably merchant guilds.
"So, shall we?"

So, this was Dahngrest. Music she could fit here would be... something of a mellow beat, but still powerful. A challenge but not an impossible task. This task she would master, when she got herself into a club or anywhere that played music. An odd combination; She was a disc jockey and he was a violinist. It would sound unique, which was exactly the vibe she hoped to get. Unique was a special kind of word, too; it in itself could be any genre of anything. In this case, the violin would provide the mellow power, while the disc would deal solely in flair, which is something the city seemed to possess at every corner.
"I like it. We need t'get you a violin b'fore we meet wit' anyone, though."
She was a human weapon; generating any kind of spike or blade from her body was commonplace, and she felt cramped when she couldn't. So as soon as they have a place to stay, she will no doubt flair her body out in private so her bones do not get cramped. But first matter is first; a violin.
"Who 'round 'ere makes them?"

Kyro blinked a bit, looking at Yvette for a moment. Now that he thought about it, it would be tough to make your mark to the head of the Union as a bards guild, when one of the members didn't have an instrument with them. While he knew full well the type of people who would make them, he didn't exactly know his way around the city. He figured that either merchants would sell them, or more specifically a crafting guild, would probably make violins. Putting his finger to his chin, he sighed lightly and looked around.
"We'd have to either find a merchant who sells them, or a guild who crafts them. Despite either one, I don't know my way around the city. So, we'd have to ask around."

"Alright."
She stretched and yawned, not so much a gesture of boredom of hers as it was an expression of how little she was worried about anything, ever. They'd find it really easily, no question about that. It was just a matter of time.
There was a distinct aura of nonchalance to her every move, even as she drifted herself over toward the window of a home from which it seemed she had found a person playing the piano. A classical instrument, that she was always interested in hearing, but never learned. Her companion was in need of musical aid, and this seemed like a good place to start looking. Wherever this person purchased this piano, may sell violins.
"Looks t'me like we 'ave a lead."

Kyro followed Yevette around, and was actually rather astounded by how calm she was. From what he gathered, she should honestly be anything less then calm. They were both supposed enemies of the empire. Neither one knew much about the other. They were both in a city neither knew much about. Nothing about the situation, from his point of view, seemed like the kind of thing to take in stride. She either really had nerves of steel, or was a total loon. As she looked into the home, he glanced inside as well. There was a person playing a piano. When she noted on having a lead, it was then that he himself put two and two together. If they bought a piano, whoever or wherever they brought it from might also sell violins!
Kyro made his way to the door, and knocked on it lightly. The person inside stopped playing the piano, and came to the door. It was a short (albeit awkward) conversation, as Kyro did managed to find out about a guild who built and sold instruments. Kyro thanked them, before walking back over to Yvette.
"They said the guild has a shop not too far from here. It's really easy to spot, since there's a big sign over the door."

So it would seem that the quest for a violin was coming to a close. No matter, it would still be a long, fun ride that this guild would take them on. Who knows? Maybe with her false identity, the Empire wouldn't find her again? That would be a great secondary effect.
"T'the shop we go~" She hummed lazily. She just generally never sounded like she gave a damn, which was convenient because it would make her seem naturally less serious, and that adds excellent influence to music. It also made her feel more relaxed in tense situations to hear that her body wasn't recognizing severity.
"Maybe th'guild will 'ave a new turntable, too. With all'is Mana stuff floatin' 'round th'air nowadays, DJing is much easier than usin' Blastia discs."

Kyro walked on, keeping an eye out for the particular place he was looking for. As he listened to Yvette talk, he was just confused. In all honesty, he had no idea what djing was. On top of that, he had no bloody idea what 'mana' was. The hell had happened while he was out travelling with his sword? He remembered that giant thing in the sky...but didn't know if it was of any importance, given it had disappeared. Kyro was going to have to get some answers. As they walked, he slowed his pace to meet his partner beside her.
"I'm going to be straight forward with you, I have no idea what djing or mana are...would you mind explaining?"
(( OOC: I apologize for the short post. I wanted to get something out, but couldn't think of much. - 3-' ))

"Djing is a special kinda music." she began, taking a small black disk from her traveling pack. "See, th'disk is a magical disk. I put magic into th'disk, and it makes music."
She spun it on her finger, and depending on the angle her other hand was at or if she touched it, it made some sounds that were strung together to a chord.
"Mana is th'new life source of th'world. Mana runs more cleanly than aer disks. So my music will be a lot clearer soon."
A simple explanation for a complex thing. It also depended in the force applied and the speed it was spun, but that wasn't really required in the explanation.
((I am so edging braindead right now...))

Kyro blinked a bit as his partner pulled a disk from her pack. When she spun it on her finger, it started to make sounds. His eyes widened a bit, as he'd never seen such a thing. That was rather unique, in his opinion. If anything, it solidified her spot on in the guild for sure. After all, he didn't know what instruments she might play. Granted, he was rather confused when she mentioned something about 'mana'. He had never heard of such a energy before, and wondered what that meant for him. After all, he could now produce his own aer.
"Umm, what do you mean about Mana? I've never heard of such a thing..."

"Brave Vesperia, th'guild that killed th'Adephagos, made mana by usin' Entelexiea and turnin' them int'Spirits, which made mana flow instead o'aer."
Really it was a fascinating topic to research, but those heroes didn't act at all like they ordinarily would. None of them gloated about it or anything. They just... Kept living. It was admirable for them to not throw it in everyone's face and expect rewards. They just... Did it.
"Mana's much cleaner than aer, an' th'planet's healthier now."

Kyro listened to what his partner had to say, but was completely lost. Granted, he wasn't surprised. During the time he was travelling with...his last companion, he cut himself off from others. He had essentially become a wondering hermit. Not listening to the gossip, not caring for the conflicts of nations or people. He had a mission, one he splendidly failed. He knew nothing of this Guild, or the people in it, or Entelexia, or Spirits, or this Adephagos.
"Well, I'm drawing a blank on pretty much all of this... I think I'll be needing a history lesson. I've been out of the loop for too long..."
Just as he finished his train of thought, Kyro noticed that the place they were looking for was just a few buildings down. With a sigh of relief, he quickened his pace a little. He was glad they could finally get this guild underway, properly.
(( OOC: You can fast forward us, at any rate, if you want. xD I just wanna get us going, develop a bond, and get more involved~ ))

Her eyes fell to the man in a slightly empathetic way, as she knew the experience of being confused. After all, her entire life was one big party so far. Still, she'd try explaining what she knew if she could. Which, unfortunately, she had reached the end of her knowledge on. Convenient timing, though, as her mind began to follow her eyes to find and meet a younger looking girl who had just collapsed in the road.
"Tha'snot normal 'round 'ere, is it?"
She decided to check it out, being the life of the party she didn't want other party-goers to pass out on her.
"C'mon, lets 'elp 'er."

Kyro blinked a bit, as he too saw the girl pass out. Yvette was already making her way over, so Kyro did as well. After all, he wasn't cold enough to just let someone in such an obviously bad condition slide by him like that. He glanced at his partner as she made a comment on normality, and he sighed.
"No, no, it's not normal." He knelt down, and picked the girl up carefully. He sat her up, and took a good look at her. He checked her pulse lightly, and checked to see if she was breathing. After all, no use in helping if she was dead, right?

Oh, now this was no fun, some poor girl being stuck out in the middle of Dahngrest with no friends and passed out on the floor. She was glad to help, and when it was confirmed that the girl was alive, she knocked once on her head lightly.
"Wake up, ya 'ead 'sleepiness."
Something told her this wasn't going to work very well, she she sat next to the girl and just relaxed herself. The girl in question, young and cute as a button, full of innocence, stirred slightly. She only passed out briefly from lack of oxygen. She wouldn't say why or that that was the case.
"U-um... I-i..."
Yvette gave a look to Kyro, as if to gesture a shrug mentally.

Kyro sighed in relief, as the girl cam to. Granted, after a little knock on the noggin from his guildmate. He noticed She seemed a tad nervous, to which Kyro held up a hand as a gesture to stop. He noticed Yvette's look, and gave a similar one back before looking at the girl.
"Please, take a moment to rest. Don't overexert yourself. My name is Kyro, and this here is my friend Yvette. You passed out in the middle of the street here...are, you alright?"
