Lloyd looked at Razulen, then to Raine. Yeah, this place was a lot like Sybak, not to mention it even looked like it. " That explains why you're here... " He said to himself quietly, pointing out that Raine was always researching. He then looked back to Razulen. " What race are you? " She had wings, but they looked nothing like angel wings, she actually kind of looked like a human with dragon wings.

S a r i a && S y n c "I still don't understand why you needed me to come with you.." A voice complained, as two people seemed to be crossing over from the outskirt of a town onto the slightly busy streets. He wore a slightly annoyed face, looking around the town nonchalantly. His green hair pointed out slightly, and he had to push it out of the way of his vision as the person next to him pushed his head down in an angry manner. She had blonde hair and blue eyes, and gave him an equally annoyed look as they stopped in the center of a street.
"Because, Sync! You were with me already.. We're still.. the Crisis Crusaders, aren't we?" The blonde asked sadly, all angry vibes leaving her outlook. The boy paused for a moment and looked her in the eyes. He drew a deep sigh and seemed to cave in, shaking his head. He continued to walk on, a couple steps ahead of her to avoid looking her right in the eyes, "O-of course I am, Saria.. I just figured you'd want someone's help more like Trace or Zehro," The boy commenting, stopping when he realized she wasn't walking with him anymore. Looking back he saw her eyes looking off in a distant place. Ever since the Crusaders actually split and went off doing their own thing, they have had some issues getting in touch with some old companions that meant a lot to them. Sync understood her pain, he had lost Misora as well. Sighing, he walked over and put a hand on the blonde's shoulder.
"Look, don't make me get all sappy. You know that's not my thing. But you know you'll see them again. We'll find them all again. Now the important thing right now is to find those documents right? I wish I knew this town.. I don't even know where to start," Sync said, talking a bit awkwardly as he was still a bit new with being compassionate and nice to people. He was always rather rude and uncaring towards others, that is, until he met Misora. He had to brush all thoughts of her out of his head for now and press on. They found a couple buildings that looked like research buildings, and before heading inside the blonde walked over to a bench and sat down, looking down at the floor nervously. Sighing, the boy joined her and gave her shoulder a nudge.
"Heh.. Sorry Sync. I-I just don't know exactly how to do this. The Maiden is still out there somewhere.. you know that. What do I say to them? 'Oh hi, my name is Saria. I was once fused with the Maiden, but we split so now she's running amuck on her own.. can you help me find papers on her?' They're either going to think I'm crazy.. Or try and cut my brain open and find if anything is still in there," She said, her blue eyes looking away from him quickly and into the sky, as if it would give her some sort of answer. She then closed them quickly, hiding in case the sky did try giving her an answer she didn't want. The boy stood to his feet with a grunt and pulled her up.
"Anyone tries opening your head up, I'll end their life," He said defensively, though he didn't see the kindness behind his sentence. The blonde giggled softly and followed him now willingly, "Hehe, Sync's such a softie now! Hmm.. which building should we try first?" She said, much more chipper.

"I suppose it does," Raine said, with a small laugh. Yes, Lloyd wasn't far off the mark at all. Whenever she was faced with something she didn't understand, she tended to pursue it until she did, whatever the method.
Turning her attention back to Razulen, she blinked, stunned by her words at first, but they soon soak in. "Before the two worlds split... Wait, that means..." And already, her curiosity was overriding her. One could see it clearly in the way her eyes shone. This girl had to be over four-thousand years old. Oh, the stories she might tell. "Fascinating! I'd love to hear more about your race, Razulen." The keys to lost cultures and a peek into life just before the ancient war...
Though, for so much possible information about to be told, she decided she needed some way to record it. "Ai?" she said, hoping it would suffice as a prompt. "Is there any possible way for you to record the following conversation?"

Razulen blinked a bit, as she was asked rather bluntly about her race from the young man, Lloyd. She was also further asked by Raine. She felt like she knew someone similar to this woman, which made her think for a moment. She sniffed the air lightly, and her eyes widened for a slight moment. She smelled elf off of this woman. A slight smile crossed her lips, as she crossed her arms.
"Alright. You wanna know more about my race? Fine, I'll tell you. Luria, listen, this will be important." Razulen unfolded her arms, and patted Luria lightly on the head.
"Alright. We are known as Krezhak'Nal, a race that has been on the planet since the time of the Elves. We originally look like large, almost...draconic beasts. That is, till we learned magic from observing the elves. We figured out how to shift our bodies into a more humanoid type of form, and back to our original form. As far as I remember, we didn't get involved in the events leading up to the separation of the world in two. Our race always preferred to observe more then act. We've mostly remained hidden until recently. We live a long time, so we don't often have children. I'm an only child. Not that it's all that important. Anyways, our humanoid forms are condensed, so we're harder to hurt then most other races unless we're in our original form...."
Razulen paused for a moment, thinking to herself on if she missed anything else.
"Anything else you'd like to ask?" As she asked, Razulen noticed a few kids moving about not too far off from them, sitting on a bench. They also looked terribly NOT from this world, but there was something about the girl that felt off to her. She couldn't quite peg what it was. She kept an eye on her, and her male companion.

S a r i a && S y n c When Saria became close to the research lab, she seemed to put the breaks on. She hadn't been inside one of these since she was very young, being forced in by her mother. The last time she came out of a place like this, well, she had another ego. One that killed many and harmed the ones she loved. You couldn't blame the girl for fearing it the slightest bit. Sync was almost to the door when he noticed, once again, that his companion was no longer with him. Sighing loudly, he turned back to her.
"What? What now? I didn't even say anything rude this time," Sync asked, his tone slightly annoyed. Saria winced slightly, looking from him to the building again.
"M-maybe we should come back later.. They're probably busy this time of day," The blonde fabricated, trying any sort of excuse to not go in at the moment. The boy sighed again and shook his head.
"Drag me here, then don't go in. That makes sense. You know Saria, I- H-hey Saria, do you know that person?" Sync asked, getting caught off guard when he realized someone was staring down both him and Saria, but mainly her. The blonde turned her head and made eye contact with the girl. Did she know her? She didn't believe so.. Saria realized that she had now been staring at the girl as well and looked away quickly, her face burning red.

In every which way, Raine's face was the epitome of a perfect listener. The way her eyes fell to half-moons, the way she cupped her chin in thought as she bit her lower lip; these were all signs of her in deep thought. The Krezhak'Nal... how interesting. She hoped Ai was getting this all down. "Yes, just a few," she said, in answer to Razulen's last statement. Though the girl had said much already, there was still a few things that piqued her interest.
"Where exactly do your people live? Near the mountainous regions? Culture and your societies? Having been to Tethe'alla, I must admit I've never seen anyone like you," she added, quite obviously. Then again, though, their original trip to Tethe'alla hadn't been a vacation. So they naturally couldn't explore all the world had to offer.
"Though, that brings up another point I'm curious about... the Krezhak'Nal being hidden until recently. Is there any reason why you've come out of hiding?" Ah, yes, that point in Razulen's speech had certainly made her eyes snap up in interest.

Razulen blinked a bit, as she noticed that the girl she was observing looked directly at her. She even blushed, which she honestly found kinda cute. She glanced back at Raine, and noted the things she wanted to know about. Of course, she had to go in depth on the things Razulen honestly didn't care for. Even so, she would answer the curious scholar to the best of her ability.
"As for where we live. Everywhere, on both worlds. We live with the people, as fancifully dressed individuals. We live with the beasts in all the wilds of the world. There isn't anywhere we really can't live, within reason. Most others are better at hiding themselves as humans and the like then myself. I just like keeping my wings and tail." As she said this, her tail flickered up into the air at her side, and moved around a bit.
"As for our culture and society...as far as I know, we usually only meet one another every five years for celebration, to catch up with friends, family, and extended family. Aside from that, you'll need to talk to my father about it. He's one of our races elders."
As for her last bit, Razulen smiled lightly and chuckled to herself.
"That's simple. It's because we sensed a great disturbance between the worlds. I honestly don't know what happened, but I ended up here, on this world. Last thing I remember, is there was something going on with the Chosen, and the whole 'Exsphere' deal. I'm not well known for being an observer." Razulen sighed lightly, as it was true. Compared to most of her kind, she was a bit of a failure as an observer. She only ever cared about the immediate, the people around her in the now. She didn't really think about the long terms.
Speaking of which, she held up a finger, in a 'I'll be right back' gesture. She made her way over to the young man and the girl. She was taller then the both of them, but once she got a better look, she felt more at ease. The girl seemed fine enough, and the young man seemed a tad on edge. Razulen smiled softly, and waved lightly.
"Hello there... would I be correct in assuming that you two aren't exactly from around here?"

S a r i a && S y n c Saria looked back up to Sync and began shaking her head. She knew she had never seen the girl before and wondered what that little moment was about. She had been conscientious about anyone giving her an odd look ever since her and the Maiden had split bodies. She always had a slight hope that maybe they knew her, maybe they had some connection with the Crisis Crusades. And then on the darker side, maybe they knew her face as the girl who had brought them such devastation. That maybe one day someone would realize that she was the girl behind the mask that brought down so many people. Saria had to shake the thought away as now it was making her upset.
"I'm sorry Sync.. I want to go in.. I'm just so.. scared of the outcome.." She admitted, letting her head drop as she averted her eyes to the ground below her. She felt so dumb, sitting outside the one place that could give her all her answers and she was too afraid to. She felt a hand pick her chin up to face upwards, right at Sync.
"Stop apologizing. I came here with you because I chose to, not because you dragged me. Once you feel more secure we'll go, okay? Why don't we uhh, explore town or something?" He asked, struggling to try and be polite and make her feel better. Saria smiled kindly and stood up, nodding in agreement.
As they were about to leave, Saria noticed the girl from before had made their way over to them. She tensed up for a moment, but when she simply asked if they were from around here she relaxed. Smiling, she shook her head, "Hehe, that obvious, huh? No, we both just arrived here earlier. My name is Saria, and this is Sync," She introduced politely, as Sync gave a nod as she said his name.

Lloyd looked at Razulen. " Ah. So they have wings, like angels? " He looked around, with a sigh. Books... books.... books... books... books... books... books... books... books... They were.... Everywhere. It made him annoyed, almost, it reminded him of school, and he hated school. He always cheated and had Genis do his homework for him, that was how much he hated school.

The Krezhak'Nal were learned shifters, it seemed; which explained how they hadn't been discovered yet. They hid perfectly in plain sight, without many questions directed towards them. So, it was hardly any wonder they hadn't heard of them until now, by sheer chance. "Fascinating," she murmured, processing all the information. But before she could press on much further with the girl (for there was never an end to her questions), she went off aways.
Well, in any case, she had gotten an amount of invaluable information. Hopefully, Ai had gotten all of that down. Raine had an excellent memory, yes, but she trusted a hand-written account much more. Sadly, however, she rarely carried pen or paper with her. "Well," she turned to Ai, "did you manage to get all of that, Ai?" she asked for the sake of assurance.
And then Lloyd spoke up, causing her to pause, and then glance in the direction Razulen had left in. "Yes, and no," she began, her voice taking on a tone that Lloyd should dread. It wasn't harsh, nor anything antagonistic, but was rather thoughtful. Clearly, she would began talking aloud in order to better sort out her thoughts. "Angel wings are usually feathered, or made of something else entirely," she said, vaguely referring to those like Kratos or Yuan.
"But Razulen's..." she paused to rub her thumb and forefinger together, remembering the texture, "They seem to be more akin to a dragons. I'm not sure how much of a significance that bears, however, but..." A second pause, during which she noted Razulen talking to two new people. Even from here, she could vaguely sense their mana. And one of them felt like an Elf.
"I do wonder what she meant by a great disturbance. The worlds have been saved, yes, though," she said, giving a third and final pause before shaking her head. Raine turned to Lloyd. "Perhaps we should stay close to her. Who knows, if the Krezhak'Nal can sense danger, it might be worth looking into," she suggested, before heading up to the trio that had gathered.
Elves... she hadn't heard of them in this place. "Friends of yours?" She asked.

Ai flickered in and out for a moment, not from anything bad happening but from the data being new, and having to manually write new programming inside herself. However successful it was, she was in no way used to that, and it probably tired her out if computers could do such things.

Razulen smiled lightly, as the girl was rather polite. She even introduced herself and her companion. Razulen was sure that she was fine, but there was still something that bugged her about Saria. Before she could say anything, Raine came up and asked her a question of the two. Razulen shook her head, and chuckled lightly."No, no, but I got a good feeling about these two."Razulen cleared her throat lightly, and bowed ever so slightly.
"My name is Razulen, it is a pleasure to meet the two of you. To be honest, yes, it was kind of obvious. After all, I, and my friend here, are not from here either." She gave a light gesture to Raine, as she did indeed now consider Raine to be her friend. After all, she was so curious about things in the world...she couldn't be a bad person! Even so, despite all of this, Razulen noticed something to be off. Not the girl, Saria, this time. No, this was something bigger...a ripple was sent through her body, as she closed her eyes. Something had happened, but she didn't know what. Sighing lightly, she clasped her hands together.
"I'm sorry to do this, you guys...but, I must ask you all for your assistance. I don't know what it is, but, it feels like something has gone horribly wrong..."
