Flynn was a tiny bit shocked, but then he flashed back to June's warning of Torrent's power. Suddenly, using basic artes wasn't so surprising. Still, he was admittedly jealous.
"Yuri, I think this just became a lot easier." he grinned and started repelling wolves from one direction, while Vera pushed them inward. Mean while, at camp, Iris was stunned and confused by her newfound sanity. Just being near someone of another world seemed to heal her. Thoughts were clearer, ideas were more logical, and Hell, she even started blushing.
But that was because she basically considered Tohru her savior and because of that, developed an on the spot affection towards him.
"So, um... Tohru? Why don't we go look for some metal later, you know, for my arm. Just you and me, and..."
She was babbling like a starstruck preteen.

"Yeah!" Yuri was grinned, feeling the thrill of battle, adrenaline running through his brains as he let arte after arte go. It was so much easier compared to when he'd had a blastia to use. Clearly Torrent's power wasn't anything to laugh at, especially with how easily he'd managed to grasp using two weapons. Maybe he'd fight like this more often... ? ... Probably not. When all was said and done, the wolves were beaten. Most were killed, a rare few managed to escape, but that was okay. He doubted they would be coming near them anytime soon, especially since they knew now how strong a group they were. Now done, Yuri wiped his forehead with the back of his arm, feeling more than ready to just go off and rest. "That should be it for the night," he said, lowering his stance, looking back at Flynn. "We'll have Repede help with the guard, though, just in case." He took a deep breath, letting out a sigh as he looked from Torrent to Second Star. Then he shook his head, tying Second Star to his waist so he could move a bit easier... well, sort of. Damn, how did the knights always carry their weapons at their side again? It was really uncomfortable. "Well! Let's get back, then," he said, shrugging as he already lead the way back to camp. ---------------------------------- "He said what—"Tohru wasn't even able to fully answer Raven's question, and neither was Alex, as Iris once again came into the picture. More than a little confused with both the girl's sudden behaviour and affection, he was a little caught unawares by her request. Still, he supposed he owed it to her. This was silly, he told himself. He was acting all stunned just because things were getting a bit out of control. Hadn't he been in several messed-up situations before, back home on the battlefront of the war with TIlsa? Taking a deep breath, Tohru allowed himself to calm, looking to Iris and nodding, offering a small smile. "Sure," he said. "We can do that. Maybe once we get to town, we can find something."He vaguely wondered how hard it would be to morph metal from Terca Lumereis, as he had yet to try doing so. Still, the biggest concern on his mind at the moment was Raven, who was injured quite badly. He was sure he was capable of making another golem, but judging from today's example, it would be more then a little strenuous. And he didn't know how far away they were from the next town... "A-Ah... "Tohru looked back at Alex, who very nearly went to hide behind Iris again. A confused look from the foreign knight, however, apparently had the child coming out of hiding again, inching his way over slowly until he was sitting next to Raven as well. "I-I... I can... heal him... I think," he murmured, holding out shaky hands over one of Raven's arms. A soft, blue glow surrounded him and Raven's arm, and after a few short minutes, even Tohru could see that the bone had healed! More than a little surprised, he looked at Alex, who was also beaming in what looked to be joy and... relief? Next thing he knew, the eager child was scrambling around the other side of the man, healing his other arm and leg. This boy, he thought to himself, feeling a small knot in his chest, He continues to amaze me.There were several dilemmas at this moment, however. For starters, Alex was now suddenly ten years old, and he hadn't the faintest idea on just how that could have happened. Maybe there was a being in this world powerful enough to alter a human's biological age, or maybe this was one of Alex's many inherent abilities. Either way, it could be considered a problem... of sorts. Next, there was the issue of his powers. In Yaluria, Tohru was quite certain that Alex had forgotten about his powers, and therefor had no idea how to use them. Yet here he was, in his child-like form, using his powers as if they were nothing. And now that he thought of it, he'd been using them easily much earlier, when they first met him. A soft thump! on the ground snapped him out of his thoughts, causing Tohru to look in time as Alex hit the ground, shaking as he slowly tried to lift himself up with difficulty. It didn't take a genius to figure out what was happening. Yaluria's magic... is not welcome here... "W-What... ?" the child murmured, slowly managing to sit up, rubbing his eyes sleepily, attempting to stand again. He fell, unable to stay standing, only this time Tohru caught him, carefully holding him in his arms. "You're tired," he informed, taking Alex over to his blanket (which, conveniently, had been placed next to Iris at some point) and lay him down, shifting his brother's cloak so that he was covered up properly. Almost at once, the child seemed to drift off, and Tohru couldn't help but shake his head. So complicated... "Hopefully things will settle down from here," he said, a statement just getting thrown out there, though a small part of him expected Iris to respond anyway. He looked up to her, giving her a curious glance almost. "Are you feeling a little better, by the way?" Not that he expected her to recover that quickly. Not by a long shot. Out of the corner of his eye, he noticed Yuri and the others coming back, glad to see that they were safe. Naturally (as he half-expected), Yuri noticed the strange man now sleeping somewhat near Repede and Raven, though some odd conversation must have gone on between man and beast, because Yuri only shrugged and went off to his own sleeping spot, setting aside his weapons.

Flynn sat besides a tree, quickly and almost instantly dozing off. Vera, meanwhile, was contemplating the fight by going over every detail in her head, making sure she knew exactly how many she killed as compared to the others. She was very direct about those kinds of things. Flynn's shield was leaned against a tree slightly away, but still within arm's reach. Minding her own business, and nodding to herself about how she was just here to fight Yuri and have an adventure, she didn't ask any details of anyone.
Iris nodded to Tohru.
"Much!" she enunciated this point by standing up and patting the spot her arm used to be. "Doesn't hurt at all anymore. I'm going to be adjusting for a while, but I think I'll be fine."
She silently mouthed 'as long as I'm near you' to herself from behind her hair, as it drooped in front of her face nicely and the fire danced a shadow across her, further masking the event.
She sat back down and almost unstantly upon getting comfortable, fell asleep leaning on the tree, which eventually lead to her slowly falling into his lap... again. Tonight would be the first normal dream she would ever remember, as the days before her aer sickness were forgotten long ago. She would finally have that much needed good night's sleep, and not be fighting off some inner insanity.

Tohru couldn't help but smile at her enthusiasm, chuckling lightly as she drifted so easily once she was back to resting. When she fell he, once again, had to keep her from hurting herself, though he was a little uncomfortable with how easily she was resting in his lap. I'm going soft, he mentally sighed, carefully reaching over and covering her, too, with a spare blanket. A small snort had him looking over at Yuri, who had his back to him. Frowning slightly, he shrugged as he shifted just slightly, getting more comfortable until he, too, had drifted off. If one looked, they could almost mistake the small little group around the child to be some kind of family. Yuri, on the other hand, had managed to fall asleep easily enough, and at one point or another, Repede had come over to rest beside him, though it was obvious that the dog wasn't asleep. ----------------- DREAM SEQUENCE ----------------- "Huh. Never seen your face here before."
Yuri blinked. And blinked again. And just looking around, he could see that everything was white . He freaked out a little, especially when he tried to find the track the sound of the voice. Where was he? Had he died? Well, he didn't exactly remember being anywhere close to death.
Finally, he realized that he was lying down, and the voice was above him... and in fact, the owner was over him. Staring down. A strikingly familiar face.
"Skade?!"
At once, Yuri got up and scrambled to get away, on his guard as he reached to grab for a sword... which didn't exist. The Skade-looking person only laughed, shaking his head and folding his arms.
"Nope. Skade used to run around in here. Anyway, glad you're here. Let me give you a tour!"
The redhead cleared his throat before indicating one side of the place. "Over there is a big white abyss." He swept his arm around and pointed in the opposite direction. "On your left, a big white abyss." Yuri could see the pattern even as the redhead once again indicated a different direction, this time above his head. "And if you look above you, yeah, you guessed it: big white abyss."
So I really did die? Yuri mentally sighed, folding his arms. "Great. So I'm stuck god-knows-where. Who're you, anyway, if you're not Skade?"
"Name's Daisuke. Daisuke Kohma."
Yuri stared blankly at him, especially with the way the other was grinning as though he was supposed to be someone Yuri knew. Clearly, however, Daisuke's grin faded slightly, and he deflated just the slightest bit.
"As in, the original owner of this sword?""
"Didn't you die?"
"Err... "
"So I'm dead now."
Daisuke laughed at this, shaking his head. "No, you aren't dead. You're just inside the sword."
This was going in a weird direction, Yuri knew. "Great. Man-eating sword. That's always good."
"It's like this," Daisuke said, scratching the back of his head before looking back at the long-haired male. "Torrent's kind of alive. It chooses people to use it. And based on how much it likes them, it will weigh either a lot, or absolutely nothing."
That would explain why Flynn had a hard time carrying it, Yuri noted, kind of liking the idea of a picky sword... well, sort of. Did that mean if Torrent started hating him, he'd never be able to carry it again?
"Here's the fun though; You cannot die as long as you're using it."
Wait, what?
"You're kidding, right?" Yuri asked, disbelief evident. Immortality? Really? Skade had been using a sword that gave him immortality ?! And now he, Yuri Lowell, was in possession of this magical wonder? He'd seen Skade's power. He didn't want to have to fight the other over something like this.
"See, if you die and the sword likes you, it sucks you in here," Daisuke continued explaining, and Yuri was beginning to realize that this guy had been here just to either screw with his brain, or seriously give him a lesson on how this weird... sword-thing worked. "You get to mingle with me and the other spirits of the sword. In here we have a lot of people, and we're all experts. Hell, I don't even know what time period it is anymore. Time doesn't matter in here."
"... Isn't that dying?"
"... Sure, I GUESS you could call that dying. But it's more like a... Life relocation." Daisuke chuckled lightly and shrugged. "Your soul will power the sword, and you'll get eternal spiritual life. Not bad, huh?"
Yuri audibly sighed this time, shrugging as he just went with it. Sensing the tension, his redheaded guide decided that moving on to another topic would be in better interests.
"Now you'll notice, to the right we have a wall of weapons." With a snap of his fingers, Daisuke seemed to magically create said wall of weapons, which Yuri was damn sure had not been there before. "Those are for anybody, can't break, and if you get cut or decapitated in here, no biggie. It's all training. One day, when the sword decides to reincarnate us, it'll put us in a new body with our same memories and skills, and that includes what we learn in here."
A free training room... suddenly, things were looking a little bit more interesting. Not only that... didn't that mean that they could have some seriously powerful allies on their side if they needed it?
"you may notice you feel heavier air around you," Daisuke continued, and Yuri brought his mind back to listening. He half-wondered when the other would shut up. This lecture was dragging out pretty long. And he hadn't exactly noticed any heavier air or anything. Then again, he'd only used Torrent, maybe... once. "To balance that out, craft a pendant and use a diamond as the center. Bind a piece of Torrent's wrapping to that, and you've got yourself all the power it can unleash!"
"Alright... "
"Here's the fun part: using the sword!"
Yuri perked up slightly, folding his arms as he listened. It was a fairly useful lecture, he'd admit that. It would definitely be better than just guessing on how it works. And he was sure that if he went about it that way, he'd never guess right. And hey, he now knew he had his own little personal heal... maybe... well, if he ever got close to death's door. That would've been extremely useful after his little trip over Zaude...
He unconsciously shuddered at the memory before a snap of fingers in front of him brought him back to attention (he wasn't going to say reality, because this really... wasn't).
"Are you even listening?" Daisuke asked, and Yuri scowled before nodded. "Cool. think that just about covers it... " The redhead thought for a minute, and Yuri had to wonder if there really could be anything else. Judging by the realization that dawned on his teacher's face, yes; there was more. "Oh! Before I forget. Torrent is also like a radar. It tells you where Kohma blood is, by sending pulses through your body in the direction of the nearest one. This is up to about three miles. It's a great way to find Skade; I used it all the time. If you're traveling with a Kohma, the sword will learn this and stop pulsing toward them."
"A radar?" Yuri repeated. Well, now that got his interest (more than the immortality and healing thing, anyway). He couldn't help but smirk slightly; if they could find Skade, then hell, it wouldn't be too difficult. They knew he was in Zaude, so now hopefully, they could just find a way to get straight there.
"Well, that'll do it. 'Till tomorrow night! Unless Torrent tests you with nightmares or something." The grimace on Daisuke's face caught Yuri off-guard. He hadn't known the man for long, but even he could tell the expression was extremely foreign on the redhead's face. "It probably will, since you're the first non-Kohma to use it."
Nightmares... Nightmares?
What kind of nightmares could he possibly—-------------------- MORNING/NEXT DAY -------------------- Morning came far too quickly for his liking, and Yuri, personally, felt like he hadn't actually managed to rest any. He slowly sat up, yawning and stretching his arms as he looked around him. Campsite. Well, at least he knew that Daisuke guy hadn't been lying. Looking around, he noticed that Tohru was already up and about, apparently doing some kind of morning exercise with that boomerang of his. Glancing over at the golem where Iris were, it was obvious the foreign Knight had made sure the both of them had both been properly covered during the night. A soft ruffle behind him made him realize that there was definitely someone messing with his hair. Startling, he reacted almost instantly, scooting away from the offender... ... only to see that it was just Alex. The long-haired male blinked, studying the child, seeing no malicious intent in such child-like eyes. Letting out a breath he didn't know he'd been holding, Yuri shifted slightly, crossing his legs. "What were you doing?" he asked. He hardly expected the kid to bolt on him, hiding behind Tohru's golem. The simple action not only made him question if this really had been the young teen that had initially wanted to kill Flynn, but it also had the foreign Knight halting his exercises and eying him in that way older brothers do when their younger sibling was threatened. And then Tohru was laughing for one reason or another. Or at least, he was trying very hard to keep it bottled in. So naturally, Yuri felt his hair, more than a little horrified to find that it was now in a braid. "H-Hey!" he snapped at Alex, not unnerved by the squeak he earned. Within an instant, Yuri was marching over to the child, glaring down at him. Before he could even get his hands on him, however, Alex bolted, slipping out of his grasp towards the other end of the camp. "N-Nooo!""Get back here!"

Flynn awoke very much rested, as the knight had grown used to such nights from his days as a rookie. Alexia was rather... Brutal in his teachings, but he was effective and compassionate... Until certain events his knightly pride still refused to talk about. Vera was wide awake hours beforehand, and as it seemed, was just coming back from a walk. Her weapon was bloodstained, but when Flynn asked, she merely stated she was bored and woke up early.
Iris stirred slowly, feeling miles ahead of how she felt yesterday. It seemed unreal that she had lost an arm... But she was made painfully aware of it when she stretched. There was nothing on her side at all, and she knew it would be that way for a while. The golem being active made her feel normal still, but she got up and did what can only be called a half hug at Tohru.
"Morning~!" she said enthusiastically, still the clinging one ad always. She wasn't even remotely distracted by the events of the night, or the morning. She only saw and cared about this guy right now. Sure, that was because to her the guy was an instant healthy day, and that she considered him a hero, but it was also because he was the first one she saw when she returned to normal.
Flynn couldn't help but laugh at the morning unfolding.
"What a party we make." he commented.

Tohru looked down at Iris when she hugged him, smiling a little as he returned the gesture. "Good morning," he answered, giving her yet another smile. He didn't yet understand what had cured her, exactly, but he wasn't about to complain. Iris seemed much happier this way, anyway, and... well, normal.
Repede watched as Yuri insisted in chasing Alex, who at one point or another decided to try and find something to hide behind, choosing Flynn's shield as a suitable target. The dog yawned, loudly, as he made his way over to the blond, curling up beside him as if in response to his statement.
The long-haired male frowned in annoyance, hands on his hips as he watched the child continue to cower. Really, this kid was ill-mannered. Who would go and braid someone's hair without their permission? Not only that, Yuri personally hated it when anyone messed with his hair. He left it down for a reason, thank you very much!
"S-Sorry," Alex mumbled, barely audible. How was he supposed to respond to that?

Raven woke up from sleeping for the night, the sun now shined down on where the group was. Raven yawned, lifting his hand up to scratch the back of his head-- Wait... He lifted his arm? Had someone healed him while he passed out. Not to mention he could feel at least one of his legs. So now, both of his arms were fixed and one of his legs were, that just left his left leg broken... The one who healed him must have gotten tired before he could get to that. Raven looked to the side, seeing Yuri chasing Alex around for braiding his hair. Yuri with braided hair, it just made the old man want to burst out laughing. Raven stood up, mostly using his right leg to keep balance. He limped though, because of the fact that his left leg was still broken. " Hey there Yuri. " He limped up to him. " Someones gettin' angry~ " He teased Yuri, already feeling a little bit better. Though, most of his body still hurt from that Dairen guy.
Karol laid on the floor, falling asleep with his bag on top of him. Awaking, Karol stood up, tired from the battle that he had with the monsters along with Yuri and Flynn. " Man, I'm beat... " He said, still tired even after hours of sleep. Well, he had slept on the floor... Karol noticed that he was now alone, freaking out a bit that he was in a place surrounded my monsters alone. " Uwaaaaahh! " Karol yelled, running towards Everyone, accidentally bumping into Flynn. " Ah, sorry-- H- hey! Hey Flynn. " He said.

Flynn took note of Iris' behvior(Though granted, it was hard to take his eyes off the hilarious sight of Yuri being teased) and noted that she was, from what he could tell, not her usual self. This was surprising, as Iris was always an absolute nut. He was interrupted momentarily by a thump from his fellow party member, the young Karol.
"Are you alright?" he said, standing up from the bump as it had caught him off balance. Dusting off, he nodded to Karol, and posed a question to Iris.
"Iris, are you feeling well?" he asked. She turned to him and smiled brightly. Innocently, if one could call it that.
"Yeah, never better! And I mean it!" she joyfully let herself fall a bit back from Tohru's practice to get out of his way, only to find herself slightly off balance. Still not used to the arm being gone.
"I don't know why, but whenever Tohru-dono is near me I can fight back the voices in my head. They're gone!" she gave her most enthusiastic approach to everything this morning, as she was more full of life now than she had been in the previous days. She could actually get a moment's peace and think, and not rely on some inner voices telling her what to do.
"He and I are going to look for some metal to replace my arm when we reach town."
"Metal?" Flynn curiously looked to Iris' sword and shield, then to his own, then to Yuri's weapons, and so forth. They were literally surrounded by metal, but none of it was something she could use without another group member being inconvenienced. What to do?
He took his own shield off, and laid it before Iris.
"Use this for the arm." he said, to which she looked at him in both surprise and confusion.
"But-"
"Iris, as your commanding officer, this is an order." he had her there. She couldn't get out of answering to a direct order, especially from the Commandant.
"Sir, yes, sir!" She saluted, and turned back to Tohru.
"Looks like we may not need to go looking around. Are you sure you want to do this? Is it safe? Will you be hurt?" so many questions and, for the first time, not about her own safety.
Vera just leaned back against a tree and watched with a smile. Quiet, for one who complained of boredom so much.

"Shut it, old man!" Yuri snapped at Raven, grumbling as he finally conceded that he wasn't going to catch Alex anytime soon. Not only was the kid fast, but something told him that if he kept it up, Tohru would most likely start 'accidentally' hurting him... or something.
Grumbling, he decided to merely go back to his spot, undoing the blasted braid in his hair before fishing out some food to start making breakfast. It was either he cook or someone else did, and he was not going to give Flynn room to volunteer. "Hope everyone's okay with sandwiches," he said to no one in particular, not really up to real cooking. He didn't even have any actual supplies for that, anyway.
Alex, meanwhile, decided to slowly make his way over to Vera, cautious all the while as he half-stared at the Krityan. He tilted his head slightly, looking at the ground and feeling one of his own ears. This realization only peaked his curiousity as he looked back to Vera. "How come you have different ears?" he asked.
Tohru was, admittedly, a little uncomfortable with the title Iris had so easily given him. Not only did it remind him of certain Tilsa commanders, it just... felt so formal. That issue, however, was tossed aside when Flynn so generously offered his shield up for Iris's arm, and he really wasn't so sure if he should. Didn't the Commandant need it for fighting, after all? Not to mention he didn't even know if he could properly morph metal on Terca Lumereis, and if he did, then he doubted he'd be able to get the shield back its shape. If not, then, well... it wasn't really... an issue...
"I'll be fine," Tohru answered Iris, brushing the concern aside. There really wasn't need for it. This was a simple task. Still, as he took the shield, looking at it, he couldn't help but frown as he looked at Flynn. "Are you sure?" he asked. "Any kind of metal would do."
"He won't back down on this one," Yuri replied instead, earning the foreigner's attention. "Once he makes an order, he doesn't take it back."
Tohru still wasn't sure, looking at the shield, hesitant. Taking a deep breath, he decided that he'd just have to make it up to Flynn somehow. Carefully releasing his hold on the shield, he allowed his powers to take over, the thing floating over the ground as he closed his eyes. It was easy enough to morph the shield, what with it having more than enough metal to make a nice, sturdy arm for Iris. When all was said and done, he took caught the bionic limb before it fell, inspecting the craft before offering it to Iris. "It'll reconnect with your nerves almost as soon as you put it on," he informed. "It'll take time to get used to, but it won't come off unless you take it off yourself."

Karol nodded at Flynn. " Yeah. " He said, looking at him as he talked to some girl, not really knowing what they were talking about.
Raven smirked as he followed after Yuri. " Aw... Not even a good morning~? " He joked around with him. And listened as he said something about sandwiches. He was actually kind of hungry.

Vera smiled and kneeled to the boy's height, always being up for a little entertainment.
"Because I'm not human, silly." She said with a smile, running a hand along her hair, and her... Well, whatever those things that all Krityans had were. "I'm Krityan. My people live inside a giant flying jellyfish."
Flynn nodded in satisfaction at the success of the transformation. He felt like a part of him helped in some way to restore a young girl's hope, or something else cliche and knightly. That shield wasn't just an ordinary shield, either. It was the shield made for the Commandant himself. He took great care of it.
Iris shakingly attacked the arm. It was, needless to say, a little painful. Yalurian magic, was still not welcomed here. But her being so full of excess aer as opposed to this new mana stuff floating around, made it slightly more bearable. Was that it? That had to be the key!
After she was done moaning in pain and clutching her new arm, she stood, realizing she had passed out in the process and Flynn had caught her. She managed to stop the pain after a few minutes of adjusting herself to it.
"That was a trip... But I think I solved the mystery of why Tohru-dono heals me." she began. "I have aer sickness. You guys all use mana now. Maybe his magic absorbs aer? Controls it somehow?"
Flynn wasn't too great at this stuff, so he just took a wing at it. "Possible..." he began, "But I would want an Aspio researcher on the job for that. Let's not strain Tohru further, though. We have enough to worry about."
H knew very well Yuri knew about the shield and how much it meant to anyone of his rank. Giving it up like that, it was just unheard of completely. But that's Flynn for you.

Perhaps fate just really wanted someone in that party dead. perhaps Torrent changed its mind about Yuri. Perhaps I'm just an asshole to everyone in this roleplay. Whatever the reason(Likely the third), Torrent had decided to become far too heavy for Yuri to lift. It also started glowing a very bright, very deep yellow. From this light, a little ways off, a portal was opened. From this portal came something of unimaginable strength that was headed straight for our heroes.
A Megraffe- A monster native to the Koto Forests of Neganite. Feathered serpentlike body, accompanied by visible fangs the size of an average adult. Eyes that locked onto the victim, penetrating their deepest fears. the dark brown color of the feathers was a bad omen, as the creature blended in. It spotted Yuri's group, and with a flick of the tongue, it dashed forward. in its wake, a tree was felled.
This serpent was clearly of a size no giganto monster would ever hope to achieve. Flynn saw it coming when he heard the tree fall, and the sheer size froze him in his tracks. W-what the hell could get that big?!
"Oh my g--"
Vera tackled him and pushed him out of its path. The serpent opened its fanned head out like a cobra with feathers. Inside this, along its neck, was the Kohma family crest designed out of the feathers along the neck.
The very same family crest on Torrent.
The serpent spit, and the yellow liquid from its mouth landed on the tree behind Flynn. a near miss. He didn't realize how lucky he was until he noticed the tree begin to rot away, and start falling. Yet another near miss, as he avoided the falling tree. the serpent's body had surrounded them, making it impossible to escape. They had to fight it.
"Dammit... Everyone, it's got us surrounded! We have to defeat it!" Flynn shouted, to which Vera happily agreed and Iris became worried.
"What about the injured?!" she shouted. Flynn had a look of panic about him. For the first time in a long time.
"Dammit... This is not boding well for us..."

Raven turned around, his eyes widening as he looked at Megraffe, an over grown... Snake? Or... a serpent. " What the hell?! " He yelled, watching as it ran towards him, Yuri, and everyone around him.
- - -
Karol saw the monster, his eyes also widened. He froze in place. " W- whoa! Holy crap! " He screamed, the monster running towards him, Flynn, and Vera. Though Flynn was pulled out of the way by Vera, the monster still ran towards him. " Aaaah! " He screamed, running towards where Vera was, barely being able to get away, the monster, whatever the hell it was, hitting his arm.

Estelle made her way to the clearing when she heard the noise afar of falling trees and shouting -- her eyes widened in shock at the sight of a large serpent surrounding her friends. She tried to speak, but found that she was at a loss of words. It took moments to speak, and even then, it was when she cast a spell. "O divine spear, run my enemy through! Holy Lance!" Spears of light struck down on the area around the serpent. She was hoping that the spears, or at least some, would hit her opponent. She hurried toward the group. Sadly, she couldn't make it too close. The serpent blocked them off. Oh no... it looks like Karol is wounded... how do I...? The serpent was large, too big to even climb over, and that bothered her. The distance was too large, she couldn't cast a healing arte from here.

The colonel, Jade Curtiss woke up automatically; he had been trained to be a light sleeper, when something sounded out of the ordinary- - - Especially the sound of a giganto snake dragging it's body along the floor - - - he woke up. Apparently the 15 minutes of sleep and the gels recovered some of his strength because he found that he was able to stand. Now, was he able to fight? That was another matter COMPLETELY. It was not like there were many fighters around, there were more injured than fighters... It left him with no choice. This was quite the interesting monster as well. Rather than being shocked, with wide eyes and a gaping jaw; Jade held a smirk of a grin and his eyes shone with amusement. Clearly he was not completely recovered physically; but he could support the rest of them with his magic. It was not long before he had chanted the words necessary for the arte, Splash. Water was then thrown against the giant snake with incredible force. It may not do great damage, perhaps... but at the very least, it would distract it or impair it.
