Vampiric Angel / Nightmare
A nasty mistake in which his mother was an angel and his father was a human. When he was fourteen, he was bitten by a rampant vampire. The angelic half rejected the change. However, the human was changed. Where he comes from, only the human genes can be transformed by any other creature. Be it werewolf, vampire or any other creature that transforms things.

Gabriel is very proficient in the use of guns and rifles. He is a good shot and easily can shoot a target. He was taught by his father at a young age and has ever since been very good. He mainly fights with guns. He has several guns on his person, the most important one being the one he uses to slay vampires, demons, zombies and vampires. Or anything else that can transform a human into another being. His other ones are used for normal fights.
Other than that, Gabriel was gifted with angelic magic. Despite his only being half, he is very strong. His vampiric half makes him stronger and faster. He also grows claws and fangs when in need of blood, or simply when angered. He has never used his fangs as a weapon, but he has used claws in a pinch.

When it comes to artes involving his guns, he does not have any specific set "artes." He simply aims and shoots. Nothing special. However, he does have a couple angelic artes that he has been known to use.

A world known simply as "Fantasy."
This world is a dream world directly linked to another world known as "Earth." When the desperate have no where else to go, they occasionally fall asleep...and they never wake up. These people have gone into a permanent dream-state. Their minds and souls have escaped to Fantasy. Within this world, beings known as "Nightmares" are created. They are beings that are created from the imaginations of the dreamers, and the children of these creations. Thanks to this, there are many sorts of monsters and beings within the world of Fantasy.
Fantasy is a real world. It is not a figment of the dreamer's imagination. The Nightmares and Dreamers have lives of their very own. No one is sure how this world came into existence. No one on "Earth" knows of Fantasy.
「 p e r s o n a l i t y 」
Gabriel is a very stubborn and often violent individual who isn't afraid toscream speak his mind. His opinions' strength rival that of the most furious polition. In other words, he does not take no for an answer, and he is not easily swayed from his views. These core facts are like an iron barrier that covers the awkward, shy child that lives inside.
When that that shield is broken, what can be seen is something pitiful. He is often displeased and rather depressed on the inside. On the outside, a real smile never actually appears on his face. At any given point, he will either be frowning, smirking, or possibly grinning if he is taking down a vampire or anything similar.
Gabriel, however, is half vampire himself. This means that he requires the blood of others in order to live. However, he does not need quite as much. He is also a lot healthier than a normal vampire, even having his own beating heart. This vampire, unlike most, is very alive. However, that is subject to change if and when he refuses to take the blood from another person. He chooses first, to die. Thankfully, bloodlust will swiftly set in if blood is right under his nose, so it does not take a lot to convince him.
In the presence of normal people, civilians...kind people, Gabriel tends to be cold and distant. He prefers to stay as far away from everyone else as possible. He does not want to become close to someone...fall in love, gain ties. He can't. Because...if he were to become close to someone, he's afraid that one day, he might lose them. However, despite this, he will do anything and everything in his power to protect the people around him. He has an amazing sense of justice. He hates for needless innocent life to be lost.
Unfortunately, he does not believe that the life of a monster is "innocent." Monsters, to Gabriel, look very human. In fact, they purposefully take human form. Thanks to his race, he is capable of recognizing them. Creatures of the dark. Evil creatures. Vampires, werewolves, zombies, demons...those sorts of creatures. Creatures of the dark are creatures that is able to transform a human into something else. Gabriel is not only severely racist towards any of these types, but he will not hesitate to point a gun at them at any given moment. In the beginning, he might immediately begin to shoot...but as his shield is slowly broken, he might start to give them a chance before blowing their brains out. He has a deep imbedded hate for these creatures that is not easily shaken though.
In all, Gabriel is judgemental, rude, stubborn, racist and bitter. He seeks nothing but revenge and seems to be absolutely made of faults. He pouts, mourns and goes into deep depressions that are not easily shaken. To the normal person, he would be someone to avoid.
To the person who will one day open his heart, perhaps he won't be so scary. When Gabriel's shields are broken down and he manages to become close to someone, he is very kind. The halfling is very kind inside as well, though it never shows, and he hates to admit it. He tends to act very protective of people he becomes close to, fearing that he may lose them. He will also make valiant attempts to run away from those close to him, usually failing every single time.
Gabriel Kaenhardt is an awkward teenage boy. Like most, he needs friends. He needs love. He needs a healthy and safe environment. However, events of his past simply made this impossible as of the present.
But who knows about the future?

Gabriel's story does not begin with his birth, but instead, with his mother, Hael. His mother is a high ranking angel with a rebellious spirit. When she was forced into a marriage with another high-ranking angel, she ran away. She ran all the way to a small village, where she met a human male called Niklas Kaenhardt. For the first time in her life, she fell in love. One thing lead to another...and Gabriel was born. A sin in physical form. However, neither parent rejected their child. They decided to raise him as a normal human, always explaining to him that he was different, and teaching him the magic of angels, surprised by his nack for it.
However, "forever" is an impossible word. It was when Gabriel was around five years old that heaven finally found Hael. They immediately took her away...and neither Niklas nor Gabriel ever saw her again. Luckily, Gabriel had been hidden that day. If heaven were to find out, the child would have likely been slaughtered on sight.
And so Gabriel was raised by his single human father. He gained all of his moral habits from this man. He became very stubborn under the man's doting nature. Basically, he became the Gabriel that we know and love today...except minus the cold-heartedness. That came when Gabriel was fourteen years old.
His village was attacked. During this attack, Gabriel lost everything. His father, his home...and even the half of him that was human. He became a half vampire. Cursed, never allowed to become to how he once was. He became bitter, very bitter. He vowed that he would get revenge. He would kill all the creatures of the dark, then he would kill himself. This became his ultimate goal and life.
For literally three years, Gabriel hunted vampires, demons, werewolves...anything. He hunted down as many as he could and claimed their lives. He became cold-hearted, cruel, distant. Allowing no one near. Speaking to no one...but he became a hero to all of the people he saved in his world. He cared for the people he saved, but they never knew that. He would never let that on. Especially when he would often corner their kin in fits of lust and take their blood. It was the times when he accidentally killed them that Gabriel hated himself the most. It was during those times that he would flee as far as he could and disappear for weeks on end. It was those times when he was most afraid.
It was during one of these episodes of fear that the power within Gabriel ran rampant. The power followed his wish of wanting to flee as far as possible...and it whisked him away to a whole new world, filled with dangers and its own war.
Which brings us to the present.
