Name: Gauche
Game from: Tales of Vesperia
Age: seventeen.
Race: Human
Gender: Clearly, two females
Alliance: Yeager, which at this point by default, means the Duplicitous Deities.
Personality: In more ways than one their style of dress or hair, the twins contradict each other. Gauche, for instance, has a very serious and almost militant demeanor, analyzing the situation so she can take careful action. Her words are harsh, and she tends not to baby anyone. Save Droite, but that's only in rare instances. Gauche also has small trust issues and rarely opens up to people, usually leaving it to her sister to do the meet-and-greet. But that doesn't mean she's shy, oh no. When Gauche wants to say something, she'll say it without hesitating.
But even with her issues with people, if you've earned her faith in you, it'll be unyielding and never broken. This holds true for Droite, too. Though Gauche will argue that she gives out hers too freely.
As for Droite, she's so very much a sociable, bubbly girl. Always with something to say and with what is sometimes called a big mouth. Which has more often than not gotten her in trouble. Occasionally, she appears ditzy and a bit forgetful, but don't be fooled. She's been trained just as much as her sister in regards with being a soldier, even if when you hear her talk you wouldn't believe it. Also, she can be very possessive and clingy, not to mention a sore winner or loser, but a quick bop to the head can usually keep those at bay.
History: If they thought back together long and hard, trying to piece together a puzzle of what they remember of their childhood, they would never fully know where they came from. Some small village near the foot of the mountains. Peaceful and quiet; out of reach from the mass political issues that swamped the rest of the world. Or so they believed.
The Great War that happened ten years previous was something that effected everyone, regardless of where they lived. The mountains that used to cast long shadows over them now buried them. The twins were lucky to escape such a terrible fate, but even so, the next year or so they spent wandering as orphans of war, begging for food and comfort. But they only found the latter in each other. Eventually, the two along with many other children were collected and placed in orphanages. There wasn't a lot to eat there, either, but most people were good and there was a roof over their heads. They were grateful.
But many people weren't interested in the children. Either in giving them a home or helping the owners of the orphanage in their cause. Well, at least until a certain man came along, with smooth words that most wouldn't trust if they had good sense. He showed a interest in the place and what it did. In everyone's stories about what was before this place, especially the twins. But they didn't know why, exactly. Out of what they imagined to be the kindness of his heart, he would occasionally send the orphanage amounts of gald to help them along and later on adopted Droite and Gauche.
They wouldn't, however, not return this kindness. It was in their nature, after all. So they decided to become the right and left hand to the leader of the guild, Leviathan's Claw. Namely, Yeager. They've been doing so for many years and don't think they'll stop repaying him anytime soon. But even so, it's ceased to become a debt to them... Almost like having a family, really.
