This is a story idea I had, and I'll probably be writing it at a later date. For now, I'll just let you know the ideas I have.
First off, some of the characters:
Samuel Wilson: A 18 year old boy who just graduated from High School. He is about 6 feet tall, with short black hair and hazel eyes. He's known for wearing lots of black, as well as baggy pants. He is currently wondering what he will do with himself in the future.
Alexa Pace: Sam's 20 year old girlfriend. She is a year and a half older then Sam. She is about 5'6'', with long red hair and green eyes. She is known for the freckles on her nose. She has known Sam since they were both in middle school, and has been dating him for a few years now.
Mysterious Girl: A girl who seemingly appears out of nowhere to give a warning to Samuel. She has white hair with green tips, light orange eyes, and often wears strange clothing. She is absurdly tall, being over 6'5''. She is known for smiling in an odd fashion. Samuel thinks she is stalking him.
So, a young man named Samuel Wilson graduated from High School recently. Live has kinda rolled to a dull spot. It's the summer, most of his friends are either working, on vacation, or preparing for college. Thankfully his girlfriend, Alex, has plenty of free time and is willing to spend it with him. Even so, he finds that there isn't much to do. While out with Alex at the mall, he runs into a strange looking girl who gives him a bit of an ominous warning: 'You shouldn't stay attached to Alex...it doesn't bode well for your future.'
Samuel naturally doesn't listen to this warning, and continues on dating Alex. Over the next week or so, he notices that his girlfriend is doing some very odd things. Giving him strange looks, and asking him in detail about the things he has eaten. All the while, the strange girl keeps popping up more and more, with the same warning. Eventually, he asks the girl flat out what she wants with him and why she keeps bothering him. She simply replies: 'I'd hate to see you die before your time...'
Samuel ignores her odd words, and goes to spend the night at Alex's house. He notices her parents are out, to which Alex says they are going out for the night for a 'romantic evening'. The night goes pretty easy, with casual conversation, watching movies, and sharing a pizza between the two. Sam starts getting sleepy, and rests his head in Alex's lap as they sit on the couch. Alex gives a light smile, and says 'Good night, my love...'
The next morning, Sam opens his eyes to find he is laying on the floor next to the couch. He is a bit confused, knowing full well he was on the couch when he passed out. He see's Alex walk into the living room, and greets her. She says nothing, and doesn't even look at him. He gets up, feeling oddly light, and walks into the kitchen. He tries to talk to her, but no response once again. He eventually ends up yelling at her, but she doesn't even flinch.
Turning around, he sees that same girl who had been 'following' him for the past while. He asks her how she got in, and she walks up to him. She looks him over, and sighs lightly before saying: 'Try to breathe in.' Sam gives her a questionable look, before trying to breathe in. He notices, not only does he not breathe, but, he doesn't 'need' to breathe. He tries to exhale, and it doesn't work. He's wondering what's going on, to which the girl tells him to try and touch his girlfriend. He does, and notices his hand goes right through her shoulder. He immediately begins to freak out, to which the odd girl tries to calm him down.
She says he has died, and is now nothing but a soul lingering on. She tells him he will be like this until he finds out how he died, and exacts retribution. He wonders is what the girl says is true, until he sees a blood covered knife in the sink. As he is about to inspect it, he is mortified when he sees Alex pick the knife up and lick the blood clean off. He starts shaking, as his girlfriend leaves the room.
Sam would spend the day following his girlfriend, trying to get her to see or hear him. He watched her as she ended up cleaning out a human sized rubber container of blood. He thought this was all a deep, and horrible nightmare he was going to wake up from. Unfortunately, what he next saw solidified what had happened to be reality. When Alex went to the fridge to get something to eat, what he saw shattered everything he knew.
Inside of the fridge, was his head in a bowl, along with various body parts. He was sickened to the core, to a point where he wanted to heave out his very stomach itself. Even so, he couldn't throw up, he couldn't breathe, he couldn't do anything. The strain eventually became so great, that he blacked out.
Samuel woke up later on the roof, in the arms of the girl who he had seen earlier in the house. As he wriggled out of her embrace, he took a few minutes to try and piece it all together rationally. No matter what he though, his head was filled with 'that's impposible', 'she couldn't ever', and 'I can't be dead.' The girl scoots next to him, and speaks for a while.
"I warned you, and you didn't listen. Your girlfriend, Alexa, is a psychotic cannibal...she eats those she loves. I know you're probably trying to rationalize this, and, hey, who wouldn't? as harsh as this will sound, it's the truth. You've got to accept this, and move on."
Samuel sat and listened to the girl, remaining completely silent. He sat on that roof, for a straight day and a half. Eventually, the police came to investigate the home. Samuel made his way into the house in the window, and made his way downstairs. The found Alex in the kitchen, stirring tea with one of Sam's finger bones. It didn't take long before they found what they needed to arrest her. Even so, Alex didn't go out fighting. She took the cuffs, and went with the police. Samuel felt a massive rage building inside of him.
He would not settle with her 'winning' in the end, with her smiling on her way to prison. She needed to pay for what she did to him. She betrayed him! He loved her so much, and she outright killed and ate him, that disgusting bitch! Samuel got in the car as well, in the back seat. They drove a ways, eventually reaching a stop light. Samuel saw a massive Ford truck come up and stop as the light turned yellow, and it was there he got an idea. Fading through the door, he ran, light as a feather, and got into the truck.
Using all of his anger and frustration, he forced himself into the body of the driver. What happened next, was all on instinct. As soon as the light turned green, he slammed his foot on the gas pedal. He ended up smacking the truck into the police car, and slamming the back end deep into a light post. It took him a few moments to get his senses back together, but Sam eventually separated from the driver. He stumbled away from the crash, and fell to his knees. The girl suddenly appeared, and picked him up.
Samuel was barely paying attention, but eventually he found that they were on a hill. The girl would lay him down, and he slowly sat up. She asked him if he felt bad for what he had done, to which he shook his head. Samuel asked what had happened, to which the girl responded that only Alex had died. Samuel didn't say anything further, as the girl sat down beside him. It was then, that he noticed he was beginning to fade away. His eyes widened in fear, as he turned to the girl. The girl said that he would be fine, and that the two would see one another again in the future...hopefully.
Samuel felt himself fading away, like his entire being was turning numb and then falling away. It wasn't long before everything faded from view. What he expected was just about anything. Heaven, Hell, God, Satan, all the typical things one expects from 'death'. Instead, he found himself in a massive expanse of grey. It gave him a somewhat soft, but comfortable feeling. He didn't know if this was the afterlife, or, what was going on. That, was when he saw It.
It was tall, a fair foot taller then he was. It was white, pure white all over it's body. It had long, lanky upper arms with long wide forearms. It's body was slender, a few times thicker then it's upper arms. It's upper legs were as thick as it's forearms, but it's lower legs were lanky. It had three big, round fingers on each hand. It had what seemed to be long hair, of the same color as it's whole body. The hair was in two long sections, that also seemed a little like ears. It's eyes were closed for but a moment, before they revealed a pair of pure blue orbs.
Samuel was straight up shocked, not knowing what it was or how to really react to it. The tall being slowly made it's way over to him all the while gazing with it's eyes. They lacked pupils, iris', or sclera. They seemed almost otherworldly, but somehow comforting. The being looked at him for a moment, before tilting it's head. It knelt down a little, before wrapping it's arms around him.
For a moment, Samuel felt a little awkward. It took a few moments for it to hit him, a sensation like no other. That sensation of completeness, of absolute and utter bliss. His eyes started to tear up, as he finally began to understand. Falling to his knees, it bent down to keep it's arms around him. He began to apologize, for everything wrong he had ever done. Every stupid little lie, every single perverse thought, and finally the murder of his own girlfriend. When he looked up at the being, he expected a scornful look. To his surprise, it was smiling at him in a concerned fashion.
Suddenly, he heard a voice resonating around him. It was gentle, and put a ease to his thoughts. All it said was: 'You're forgiven.'
