June gave notice to a small group leaving from Zaphias. So, it seemed Flynn and Yuri and the others had caught up, at last. There was no running from this anymore, and she knew it. She also knew her half sister was nearby, and called out to her.
"Arceia, we have a problem." she began, halting her words quickly when she saw that the group had increased in size considerably. She had to keep Yuri away from the girls, at all costs. The two fought constantly, but there just HAD to be some way to reach common ground... And she wouldn't allow them to meet again until she pieced it together. Arceia quickly returned, showing as the robed mage girl from before. Her true form was concealed once more, which was probably for the best in this scenario. Arceia would act as the best alternative assistant in keeping the two away, since there wasn't any knights in the area except Flynn, and he was with Yuri, which meant things could get messy.
Arceia was spotted by Flynn after he heard their voices. The orange and green haired girls were with.. June? And a new girl, whom she apparently knew. An odd party for sure, but not any odder than their own. Flynn knew better than to see if they would join; Gauche and Droite would never fight alongside Yuri. They had to hurry though; Skade was far off, and delaying would get them nowhere.
As he thought this to himself, who else but the man in question would appear before them? Skade descended on the group, from an unseen portal some ways above them. His face was covered by that same mask, and the air reeked of blood as it always did. This was not a fight that was expected so early on, nor wanted. Arceia readied her bow, and June her sword. In response, Skade raised a hand. The sword he held glowed, and blurred itself unnaturally. In a confusing haze, the area around he and the girls became covered in a blotchy, dark aura that acted as a fence that everyone else could see through.
"Skade, here?!" June snapped, looking to her forced companions. Arceia, Gauche, Droite, and another were all locked in the same area. It seemed as though one girl walked just a tad bit too close to the field before it came up. Arceia and June noted her, and tried to think of if they knew her or not.
"Iris!" Flynn called out, from the other side of the fence.
"Iris?" Arceia and June repeated. They didn't know the girl, but she was stuck here fighting. As it seemed this group was. But the larger party was not within the barrier, and thus couldn't do anything but watch. Skade took note of this new girl as well, and began to cast illusions upon her in an attempt to drive her mad. To everyone's surprise, she was unaffected. This enraged Skade, as he held out a blade to her, and offered a challenge.
"You, girl. How is it you resist my maddening embrace?" he asked.
Iris gave him a look of sarcasm, and yawned. "You're the guy we're all after? Really? Man, this game needs better bosses."
Nobody questioned this comment, as they were too focused on Skade having failed at his torture. Iris, unknown to them, was unaffected because of her aer sickness; her brain cells were constantly dying and reforming, making her insane as well as unable to be subject to any mental invasion. An asset only helpful against such foes as Skade, who primarily fought with mental abuse.
"Hey, you with the ugly. We gonna have a fight or not?" Iris shot at Skade, smiling. It was amazing, how this one girl could get on his nerves so much. He accepted her challenge, having to resort to his skills with a blade rather than his torture. This made the battle much easier for Iris, who was skilled with sword and shield.
Skade began with a charge, to which Iris side-stepped, waving her shield like a red cape and shouting "ole!", which only caused Skade to return with a swing backward quicker than anticipated. Iris managed to back-step quick enough to avoid getting hit, but her armor wasn't without damage. She wasn't letting up on the quips during the entire fight, like a toddler taunting a bull. This was one fight everyone could see the direction of, even without Skade's power. As everyone feared, the fight ended quicker than it began. Skade landed a blow to Iris' shoulder, cutting into, and removing, her arm. Following this, a strike with the pommel of the sword to her head would knock her out long enough for her to bleed out, preventing her from getting. His attention then turned to June and Arceia, who had managed to get a decent distance from the twins to keep them safe. They both were easily subjected to Skade's torture, making it harder to fight him even than Iris had it. While Iris was incompetent with her fighting, she was immune to his magic, which put her eons ahead of these two any day.
"Got a plan, Arceia?" June asked quietly, charging a fireball. Arceia shook her head and sighed.
"Just keep his eyes on us." Arceia made the first attack, launching several arrows at Skade and several more into the sky. The arrows themselves seemed to be from nowhere, but it was the quiver she had under her robes. June charged forward, meeting Skade in a clash. As she did so, he leaked images of all of those she had lost on her journey, dead and decaying. She quickly lost vigor and was pushed to the ground, which made an easy opening for Skade. If not for the arrows launched at him from above that he had forgotten about. One pierced his chest plate, just barely scraping his body, while another knocked Torrent from his hand. That was the primary goal at this point, as Skade's power was now halved.
Even with this, he stomped June in the neck, not flinching at all from the arrows. The stomp quite literally shattered her spinal cord in her neck, which caused immediate and total shutdown of all activity below the brain. Alive, but not living, a true hell. Arceia fired another shot at Skade, which was faster than before; a thinner, heavier arrow with a more streamlined head. It landed right into his kneecap, causing him to fall back and off of June. This was her only chance, and she had to take it. She ran towards Torrent, and picked it up by the pommel; she was too small to lift the handle. Using every last bit of her magical energy, she generated enough adrenaline within herself to lift and throw Torrent out of bounds, the blade itself landing neatly in the ground next to Yuri.
This action was not met without punishment.
"Take it! It's Torrent, I'm sure June told you what it does!"
These were her final words. Skade appeared behind her, and without even so much as a change in his or her faces, snapped her neck. His gaze met Yuri, and he laughed. A hand reaching up to his mask, he slowly pulled the metal piece from his face. Underneath it was decayed, scarred flesh forming what was left of a nose and mouth, with bone and veins beneath it.
"Try as you might, the blade will never accept you without Kohma blood. Her last wish is null."
His laugh echoed, and his attention turned to the twins whom he had certainly not forgotten about.
"You two will live with the pain. Watching those you care about suffer and die. The memory will haunt you until I return for you."
With the very last bit of energy June had, as it seemed her brain was still functioning, her magical energies released and sealed within the pendant she wore around her neck. A last effort, which went unnoticed to the others. Skade put his mask back on, and turned to create a new portal.
"I welcome you to challenge me, with the sword you cannot even wield. Come to me, in the land known as Zaude. Unless, of course, the needs of the people distract you."
Flynn wasted no time when the barrier faded and Skade was gone to go check on the damages. The three girls he had seen fighting were either dead, or knocked out. Arceia was for sure dead. Iris was unconscious, bleeding rapidly, and missing an arm. She needed a healer, immediately, or she would die. Either way, she would forever be missing her right arm. And June was, without any doubt, dead; her spine and wind pipe were crushed. Anyone who could survive that would surely be able to defeat Skade. He noted that she had a pendant around her neck, and analyzed it. Just an ordinary pendant, but it felt warm. Like it held her spirits and dreams within it. Truly a memento that only those she was closest to would hold. He knew that wasn't him, and resigned to give it to the twins.
"It seems we had poor timing. I apologize for your loss, as June was with you longer than us. Please, keep this of hers with you."
Poised and calm, like a knight should be. Flynn held his cool and collected act together well.
"Is there a healer among us?! This girl is still alive!" he called out, standing next to Iris with a hand in the air to be spotted easier.

Yuri was furious when the barrier was put into place, cursing up a storm as he tried to beat it down, especially when he saw just who was responsible. His blood went cold immediately, yet it only further drove him to try and find a way through. Watching the unfair battle go on, watching the obvious disadvantage that the girls had, just made his gut twist and twist into an unbearably tight knot. He was used to death, didn't mind having to kill people, but there was just... Skade's methods of killing, of his torment... all of it just scared him to the very bone.
"You son of a bitch!"
Especially when the bastard looked at him.
That face... that face was not the face of a human...
Tohru, on the other hand, had seen death. Tohru had, after all, been on the battlefield, forced to watch as his own men died trying to keep Avaris' forces from attempting to take over Yaluria. Energy Cannons, spells, arrows, swords... he'd seen peoples' heads get blown off, even. Yet even still, that did not change the fact that as he and the others were forced to watch as not one, but three innocents have their life so brutally ripped away, it was too much.
Yet he had to keep it together - he wasn't the Black Knights' Captain for no reason. Steeling himself once the barrier was down and Skade was gone, he immediately followed after Flynn, grimacing as he looked upon the form of Arceia and June. They, he knew, were long-gone. With any luck, they went quickly. Iris, on the other hand, was suffering. There wasn't any doubt in his mind she would have to be discharged from service.
Onyx-black eyes turned on Yuri, who was still standing there in a mild form of shock. Tohru narrowed his eyes; he wasn't sure it was his place to say anything, but they couldn't just leave the male there.
"Yuri. Your help is needed," he said, hoping his voice didn't come out too forcefully. Yet it did what he wanted: the dark-haired male snapped out of whatever stupefied state he'd gotten caught in and seemed to pull it together again. Satisfied with this, he looked to Arceia's corpse, whispering a soft prayer he'd once heard the men on his field use before he activated his magic, willing the earth around the girl's form to sprout out and engulf her broken form in a makeshift coffin of sorts.
"Damn, I wish I could use artes at a time like this," Yuri muttered, cursing under his breath taking a step forward until his leg brushed up against something: Torrent. That sword June had been talking about. The one that she needed, the one that Skade had stolen from her. He grimaced, looking over at her corpse before resigning himself to what he knew he should at least do. She deserved as much.
Effortlessly, he took it out of the ground, taking it over to June's side.

There were many things neither of them were able to comprehend right now. Like how events tumbled down in what seemed a matter of seconds. From June to calling Arceia again, to Skade appearing and the brief battle that ensued and the end result of three bodies on the ground, dead or dying. It felt familiar, in a way, watching someone die right in front of them. And the realization cast a heavy enough weight to sink Droite to her knees, only staring. They could've done so much, and yet...
"...I don't know if I'd put it that way," Gauche replied, taking the pendent Flynn offered. In truth, though they knew a lot about each other, they still had only known each other for a day. But Droite knew in the way that she held her posture, stiff and straight, that it, too, weighed heavy on her. Because when something bothered Gauche, she tried too hard to make it seem as though it didn't. Subtlety, of course, but the signs were there if you looked and knew her well enough.
The feeling of the pendent seemed to pull the red-head into reality. "It's warm," she noted, running a thumb over the surface. Warm like the body still alive, or the sun drying your hair after a swim in the summer. Almost hopeful, in a sense, if inanimate objects could be so.
"Warm?" Droite parroted the word, while wiping the tears that had come.
Gauche nodded slowly, unsure what to make of such a thing. Then, hearing Flynn call in the need of Healers, she swayed in thought. They were her enemy, so she had no obligation to help them. And she probably wouldn't be needed, anyway, seeing as a brunette seemed to be heading over to one of the girls that was still living. And on top of that, it seemed that they were already burying the other two. 'They' being Yuri, specifically, and she felt the fires of their earlier encounter start to appear, but something held her back. Maybe it was the mood, and the scenario around it. The respect for the departed. "Droite," she said, voice barely above a murmur. Droite looked up from the ground, questioningly. "Maybe you should go say goodbye."
Droite blinked. Part of her didn't want to, as it seemed so final and she didn't want to entirely acknowledge it. But the other part was a bit stunned at Gauche's actions. "You mean, you don't want to--" She half-heartedly pointed over to where Yuri was.
"Not right now." She was so tired from today and everything about it. "Later." She needed time to think, time to wonder what to do now. And she was sure Droite needed it, too. This latter realization came to her as she watched Droite awkwardly make her way over to June's body, which her hands clasped in front of her and wringing them slightly. Clearly, unsure what to say.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Nila knew from one glance at June there was no saving her, not even with Healing Magic. Her life was slipping away, like rainwater through pebbles. She shook her head, and said a quick but silent prayer. Something of habit for her, she guessed. Trying not to cry, she figured it was best to help the others... it would at least keep her mind off this, if only a bit.
Kneeling next to the girl (Iris, she thought), she tried to give a cheery smile despite the situation. "You're gonna have to bear with me a bit here, since this might hurt," she explained, before closing her eyes so she could focus on the spell. Her magic was strong enough to stop the bleeding and seal in up a bit, but that was it. She was no miracle worker and wouldn't be able to return the girl's arm to her.
With a sigh, the spell was done, and she glanced up at Flynn. "Obviously, she won't be able to move around for awhile... and she's likely weak from bloodloss and shock." Martel knows she would be. "I try not to be pessimistic, but hopefully it doesn't reopen soon. 'Cause I don't think I have the mana to use anymore magic today." She wasn't dead-tired, but she was definitely starting to feel the strain of it.

Flynn's reactions were well kept to himself, as he had often found himself needing to do so. But this. This was just... Terrible. War took tolls on many, and often times, it would leave families broken and lives crushed. But never in his lifetime had he witnessed an entire race get wiped off the map. His thoughts drifted to what June said. About being the last of her people. The itching anger he was getting from knowing he couldn't prevent this was just so hard to keep contained.
"Yuri, you remember her words? June is-- WAS... The last of her race."
His eyes fell to Arceia again, as she was being put into the ground.
"I don't know this girl, but she seemed to know June. She wore Aspio robes though... Maybe we should ask someone in Aspio if they knew her?"
Now finally, as Nila began to seal up the wound on Iris, it seemed as though at least one of them would make it. Flynn resumed talking to himself, but loud enough for Yuri and Nila to hear him.
"She was crazy, but even she didn't deserve this. I'm not sure how we're going to tell her of what happened when she comes to."
As if his pondering wasn't confusing enough, he saw Droite kneeling over June. So, enemies or not, these girls did have a common enemy as their own sworn nemesis, Yuri. This could be an eye opener to them, if they could allow their hatred to diminish for just a moment. However, it seemed as though this would not be the case. Flynn approached and kneeled beside Droite, to tell her something quietly.
"I'm not sure what you girls were all doing, but I encourage you to continue along the path you were taking.Skade is a monster, and will be dealt with, but I'm sure until the time of the final fight, there is something else for you two to do."
There wasn't much else for him to say, so he excused himself from her presence and returned to Yuri. What seemed like a touching moment on his part, Flynn would have ordinarily commented on if not for the grimness of this situation.
"That girl who threw the sword to you... She must have expected one of us to use it. If this is truly Torrent, it not only halved Skade's strength when he lost it, but it could double our own. One of us should use it, for her sake. Strike the final blow with the sword that is essentially her soul."

Nila wasn't sure what to think what Flynn meant by 'crazy'. Oh, sure, she'd seen a touched person a time or two (not that this was about Asgard's tourists), but she had to wonder what sort of brand of crazy this was. She looked normal, by her standards. Purple hair wasn't that uncommon in her world, at least for those of Elven blood. "Break it to her slowly, and hope she doesn't freak out too much," she shrugged. "Though, I think the lack of limb will clue her in before we can," she added. Hopefully, the girl wouldn't scream or cry. Goddess save her, she didn't do well with tears.
Droite, meanwhile, was still having trouble on what to say. There was nothing she could say to Yuri, and it was no better when looking at June's lifeless body. All words and sentiments ran dry, and she could only stare. Skade... Skade had done this. So what did that mean? Was he another to be added to their list of revenge? But he seemed so powerful and cruel. And not entirely human; not in his actions, at least. Something like that, well, what could the two of them do? Looking at the group around her, too, she could figure Skade was a common enemy, but therein lay another problem...
Gauche would never agree to working alongside them. She was too stubborn to allow herself to.
"...I, uh. I guess this is goodbye, June," she whispered, still unsure of what was proper to say at this time. Then, as she made a motion to stand, she was stopped by Flynn coming alongside her. This was something she hadn't expected, nor his words.
They were funny, in a way. "I dunno if you'd still be saying that you knew what's on that path," she said, almost to herself, but still loud enough for any wayward ear to catch. But whether her heard her of not was a mystery, as he quickly excused himself. She figured she better do the same, and left June's body with a final, silent goodbye to join back with Gauche. "Um," She started eloquently.
Gauche seemed to be broken out of her thoughts, and quickly placed the pendent in a pocket on her dress. "Are you done?"
"I think so... but where are we-"
One step ahead of her, Gauche intervened. "Our only choice is where we were going originally."
Droite nodded. "Halure." Without another word to each other or the group, they left in the direction of the destined town.
"...Bye?" Nila was left saying awkwardly at their sudden departure.

Last of her race... of course Yuri knew that. What could they do, though? Skade was too strong.
Or at least... he was... until he left Torrent behind.
This realization made him wonder... was there a way to fight? They had Torrent, and if Flynn was right, then Skade was definitely weaker, and their own strength might have been doubled.
"So we take this girl's sword and use it to fight against that demon," Tohru assumed, finished with the making of Arceia's grave. It wasn't much, the ground swallowing her corpse up and forming a small mound as a marker should one wish to visit her. He began the same thing on June's body, continuing to draw on the power of the earth.
"Sounds about right," Yuri said absently, holding up Torrent to see. His eyes narrowed slightly, turning his gaze onto the mound that Tohru was apparently managing to create to cover June's body. He couldn't deny that the man's "magic" was intriguing, as well as that of his brother, who, quite plainly, had tried to kill Flynn.
There were too many questions and not enough answers...
He sighed, shouldering Torrent, watching as Gauche and Droite left. He didn't know what their goal was and, quite frankly, didn't care. If it was the same as his, then they could meet at the end if they so desired. If it was different then, well... he'd leave them be, so long as they didn't go causing trouble again.
"Guess I'll use this for a while, then," Yuri declared, untying his Second Star from his wrist. It took a moment to figure out, but eventually he decided that tying it to his waist would probably be the best for the time being so he could carry Torrent properly.
"You're going after Skade, I assume?" Tohru asked, watching Yuri.
"Well, yeah. Kinda have to, after all. Besides, doesn't he have your brother mind controlled or something?" The dark-haired swordsman couldn't tell what the foreign Knight was thinking, which almost unnerved him. It was like Duke, except after gathering all the pieces, the guy was pretty easy to figure out. This guy, though... he was a complete mystery.
"... I have no other options. I can't leave Alex alone," Tohru answered after a while. "And... I've already agreed to help your Commandant Scifo."
"Hm... guess we won't really be working together too much, then," Yuri said, more to himself than anything. It seemed Tohru understood this, finishing up his job on June before letting his boomerang vanish.
Talk about a big weapon...
Yet as the foreign Knight turned around and made to walk away from his work, he stumbled, caught off-guard as a wave of weakness caught him off-guard. Yuri acted quickly, managing to catch the taller male in time, supporting his weight.
"Hey, hey... don't go passing out on us, too," he grunted, waiting as Tohru seemed to recover himself. He watched the other blond curiously, eyes narrowing slightly. "You okay?"
"Yes... I'm fine... "

Flynn began to see signs of Iris stirring awake. Unusual, for one who suffered such a severe injury. Whoever that cleric was, she was well beyond average. His gaze fell once again to that blade which terrified him at the beginning of this journey. Torrent, it seemed, was now theirs to use. But such raw power, he argued, would become an ill omen. It was similar to Dein Nomos; far too powerful to just be left unchecked. At least it was under their control this time. He was curious though, now.
"We should figure out exactly what this thing is capable of before any harm comes to you from holding it."
Iris managed to roll her head to look over at them, her entire body aching but alive.
"Looks like she made it. We will send her home as soon as we can. She certainly is in no condition to fight."
Flynn eyed the sword again before coming to one very, very surprising conclusion.
"Y-yuri... How are you lifting that monstrous sword with one hand so effortlessly?!"
In reality, it was because the sword liked him. The trouble with soul blades was, they actually bonded to the wielder if they liked them. Of course, Torrent was also full of souls, including the one of June's grandfather Daisuke. Who would, without a doubt, sneak into Yuri's dreams and teach him how to use the sword effectively. Iris gave it a look over. That was the sword that she saw in Skade's hand.
"Aw, man. I got PKo'ed and missed all the loot." she weakly laughed, reaching to her shoulder, and realizing the arm she was reaching with didn't exist.
"Any of you guys seen an arm lying 'round here? I'm short one. Oh, maybe we can go to the arm shop and I can get a new one. Yeah, with fire powers. That would be cool."
She aimlessly rambled, which made Flynn facepalm, but also feel relieved that she was doing so well.
"Sure, Iris. We'll get you a new arm." he said, knowing full well that he probably could do such a thing yet. Still, she may need to stay near them after all. She did, after all, manage to evade Skade's mental torture.
"This is chaotic... We need to regroup ourselves at the nearest town. Skade invited us to Zaude, which if June is right, means he's 'chosen' us for his next playthings. We have all the time we need... But one ting he said is still disturbing me. What do you suppose he meant when he said 'The needs of the people'?"

At Flynn's question, Yuri blinked, looking at Torrent and pulling it in front of him. "It's... actually pretty light," he answered, swinging the blade around a bit for some practice. Sure, it was a little more... unique than he'd normally take to, but he'd use it if it boosted his strength somehow. They needed whatever edge they could get against Skade, of that he was certain, just seeing what the man was capable of. Seeing Iris stir and hearing her talk, he couldn't help but feel a little glad. Someone had survived. "Glad she's okay."
"Regrouping would likely... be in our best interest, however," Tohru started, having recovered from his random bout of dizziness, "with whom are we meeting? I'm assuming you have other allies who can help with this madness."
"What he meant, Flynn," Yuri retorted, "is that he can tell you work yourself to death for other people's sakes."
"At any rate, his words can't be ignored... "

Flynn shook his head in dismissal. He wasn't working himself too hard, not at all! This was what was expected of the Commandant.
"We would need to send for backup. The nearest town to us..."
He began pondering when Iris butted in, still on the ground and still looking to be very pale.
"We don't need regrouping. Our party's level are high enough as it is, don't put us on easy mode!"
She smirked.
"Besides, a little birdie told me our party's 'too-cool-for-you' member just got his hands on a weapon from ancient times AND another world. By the laws of MMOs, that makes it more powerful than an army we could get."
Flynn, astonished by how much she knew about the weapon, started to question and stopped. He remembered her illness, and pondered for a moment if it gave her telekinesis as well.
[[Jerk. It's because WE tell her what YOU don't.]] ::Hush now. She can plenty figure things out without us.: [[While unconscious? She'll thank us later.]]
Er... Moving on. Iris started to manage a half-disabled crawl to her knees. She was too strong willed to let this set her back.
"So, Yuri, tell us what the other world looks like?" she managed, short of breath.
Naturally, she was hinting at the abilities within the blade, which she would only know because of her spoiler-alerting subordinate personalities telling her what I've been typing.
However the truth of the matter was, Yuri could freely travel to Neganite. The sword would teleport him directly to June's house. However, he would first need to encounter the spirits within it, in his dreams, so they could teach him how it works.

Yuri stared. And stared. And continued to stare at Iris, wondering how he had gotten picked on so much as a Knight, and here was this regular fruit basket, just rambling on about one thing or another, and making absolutely no sense. He wanted to ask Flynn how she was a Knight, really he did... but it would be rude and helpful to ask in front of Iris herself.
Oh, who was he kidding...
"If you want, I can carry Iris," Tohru cut in before Yuri could say what he wanted to say. "Or at the very least, conjure up a way for her to travel safely with us until we get her to a town."
"So... your weird magic stuff works here, I take it?" Yuri asked, seeing his opening. Tohru nodded, and the black-haired swordsman let out a quiet 'hmm.'
"With the two of you, I can stay ranged as well."
The newly-dubbed Torrent-wielder thought it over, closing his eyes in thought before nodding, putting his free hand on his hip. "Alright, then we'll just get to Capua Nor, since that's closer than Zaphias from here. And, maybe if we're lucky, we might just find an arm store for Little Miss Insanity here." He wa sbeing thoroughly sarcastic, and he knew that Tohru and Flynn were going to get that (hell, Tohru was actually scowling at him in disapproval... he really was like Flynn).

"Yuri, was that really called for?" Flynn snapped at him, still shaking off how own personal waves of both fear and anger. This was turning into a very dangerous journey, where many a life could be taken. There was no margin for error at all.
"Nah, it's okay Cap.' Iris smiled brightly, reminding her superior that she was always the lively one even if things were bad.
"See, this just opens up a sidequest for us. That gives the party a chance to grind some levels."
Ignoring her insanity for a moment, Flynn turned his attention elsewhere. Onward, it seemed.
"So, it's really come to such a harsh journey. Genocide, murder, chaos... We sure are unlucky to be so close to a world like that."
The wind blew, rather cliche' in it's path, against them. Flynn got a wave of inspiration from seeingly nowhere.
"Alright, if we're going to stop this madness we need to attack it at the source. Once Skade is dealt with, I propose we take the fight to Zephyrus himself," his hand extended to the sky, as he continued his speech, "He has gotten away with far too much, and native to our world or not he's damaged our lives in some way, and his minion is rampaging our lands. For the sake of our world. For our Terca Lumiries, I will face this monster head on! Even if I'm going by myself!"
The wind conveniently stopped at that exact moment, and Flynn took a deep breath. That was when Iris spoke up.
"Count me in. No way I'd miss the final boss fight."
Another voice, distant in it's feminity and leisurely sound, approached from the sidelines.
"And I'll go where my boss tells me. So, Yuri, should we get captain Karol in on this?"
Vera joins the party.
Flynn smiled, seeing a new face that was willing to help, even if she had been a strange woman when he last saw her. All the help he could get was worth it. He knew Yuri and Tohru wouldn't resist joining in the fight; Yuri was too much of a... Yuri to ignore getting beaten, and Tohru had a strong willpower, as well as a personal bout.

"A fight against another world's villain," Tohru mused, closing his eyes for a moment before nodding to himself. "I will do what I can. However, I won't promise that I'll leave this world before finding Alex."
He had to find Alex. That was the only reason he was here, and somehow, he knew that if he wanted to get back to his world, he'd need to find his brother-figure.
Yuri couldn't help but smile briefly at Vera's entrance before looking back at Flynn, for once very serious. "So we're gonna get Zephyrus?" he asked, though it was a rhetorical question more than anything. "Not that I'm against you, Flynn, but we don't even know where the madman is."
Then he paused. And blinked. And suddenly Vera's statement hit him as he spun around to face her, a bit caught off-guard. "Wait, when the hell did you join Brave Vesperia?"

Karol looked around, as he saw Yuri, running over to him as he began to speak. " Yuuuriiiii! " He yelled out at him and finally reached him. " There was a girl in Halure that looked exactly identical to you! " He told him, looking straight at Yuri, that girl had the same exact hair, same exact eyes, everything was the same, the only thing different was that she had, of course, more girl parts and no boy parts.

Vera smiled coyly and gestured to karol.
"boss man here hired me on the spot. Guess I've got the right stuff." she made her way to Yuri, brushing against him gently and provocatively, but managing to keep her inner commentary to herself. Her eyes shifted to his, and she smirked.
"You think I have the right stuff, right~?"
Flynn caught on, and sighed.
"Enough, can we-- Yuri has a female counterpart? Since when?"
"Oh, that was just me." she winked, and backed herself up. Motion by motion, word by word, she explained the rigorous trial it was to clone Yuri, get his outfit tailored for a woman, and then how she left the girl with the princess of the Empire and an old pervert.
"Captain Schwann and Princess Estellise are playing parent to a clone of Yuri who happens to be female... And I thought Iris was crazy."
"Hey!" [[Shut up, he's right.]] ::Hooray! Screentime!:: "Back to the offscreen section for you two!"
Flynn blinked and so did Vera, then they almost simultaneously sighed.
"At any rate, we should be glad that Princess Estellise is watchful of this clone. She will grow up proper and well mannered. Maybe even one day becoming a knight in the Empire."
He said all this, of course, for a personal 'lol' toward Yuri.

"She is crazy, Flynn. Vera, on the other hand, just added another notch to the crazy scale!"
Yuri seemed to be getting a lot of "WTF!" moments today. What was it, 'Pick on Yuri' Day?
There were so many questions and emotions running through his mind, but he decided to start with the most obvious one, scowling at Vera. He wasn't exactly in the mood to mess around, especially after finding out that she had cloned him.
"Okay, I know I'm good-looking and everything," he started, putting his face in his hands for a moment before letting out an 'Why The Hell Is This Even Happening' sigh, looking back at the Krityan in question, "but why did you clone me? And for the record, Flynn—" He rounded on his childhood friend, glaring at him. "—there isn't a chance in hell someone from my DNA will end up being some prissy, sheltered noble, let alone a Knight. That's just not how it works!"
Tohru couldn't help but chuckle lightly, thoroughly enjoying this scenario as he gently shifted Iris in his arms. He would have to create something in order to carry her, as no-doubt he would be needed as some kind of support in battle. Plus it would be safer for her. Thinking quickly, he lightly tapped the ground with his foot, whispering foreign words before a massive golem sprung from the earth, eyes glowing green as it stood there, ready for orders. Tohru looked down at Iris. "Would you be opposed to letting this creation carry you?" he asked.
