She smiled and giggled a little, almost glad Yuri found out this way. It was humorous, but also touching to see him get so unnaturally defensive over this girl who he had never met.
"Well, I was bored and you seemed busy. So when I wanted to fight you, I cloned you to save time."
Think about that one for a second.
"But she came out... I dunno..." Vera yawned. "Like a baby. She couldn't speak or move or anything. But hey, she'll be a great fighter someday. She WAS born on a pile of monster corpses after all. How much more awesome could a birth be?"
Flynn just could not contain his amusement, but at the same time let it out in very subtle ways so he wouldn't seem unprofessional.
"It's as if Yuri has a baby sister, it seems. And the mother figure in her life is Princess Estellise."
Iris just shrugged at Tohru with her one arm, and nodded.
"Yeah, that's fine. How much MP does it cost to summon this guy though? I could use that spell."
Vera gave Yuri a sad, pouty lip as if she was upset that he disapproved.
"Aww, don't tell me I did something bad... I just wanted to train so I could be better for the guild, and who better to train against the the one and only Yuri Lowell?"

Tohru shrugged, carefully placing Iris in the arms of the golem. "It... doesn't take much, I suppose you could say," he answered, instinctively moving a strand of Iris' hair out of her eyes before stepping back. With a flick of the wrist the golem came to life, eyes glowing brighter now as it deemed itself capable of movement. At once, the Yalurian Knight felt some of his energy get drained away, though he brushed it aside as nothing. "Unfortunately, you won't be able to learn this kind of trick. It would be... difficult to explain, to someone from your world."
Yuri, on the other hand, was just not amused. How could he be, really? Once again, ebony eyes shot a glare at Flynn, wishing that, for once, his childhood friend would shut up. Still, seeing as there was really nothing he could do, he sighed, putting his head in his hands as he did his best to calm down. Honestly, he didn't know if he should be flattered or creeped out that Vera wanted to fight against him so badly. "Okay, whatever," he finally said, letting out an annoyed sigh. "Let's just... get out of here and start moving, alright?"
He started walking forward before he stopped, rounding on Vera again, surveying her with a mild look of caution. "For the record, if you start coming at me every second of the day, I'm just gonna knock you back on your ass every damn time. Don't need another nutjob going after me because they 'want to fight with me.'"
He did not want another Zagi, thank you very much.

Such a strange bunch. He made that same note upon meeting them back in Zaphias, but he was never more right about a group's description than now. A one armed lunatic, a Krityan mad scientist fightaholic, what equates to another world's version of a Commandant, himself, the leader of a world-saving guild, and Yuri. Only time would tell how well they all got along.
"Seems to me that we should find shelter soon. Nila may have healed Iris spectacularly, but she is still in need of medical attention. Plus, I think we could all benefit from a night's rest."
Iris gave a wide eyed, curious-child-who-was-way-too-innocent stare off into space for a moment. Possible relapse in her insanity?
[[Not likely.]] ::What she said.:: "Can I ever get a break from you two?"
"uh..." Flynn ignored her comment and continued onward. Vera, replying to Yuri, gave a gentle knock at the back of his head.
"No worries, it's not fair to fight someone who isn't expecting it. I'll just ask if I want a match." with a pleasant smile, she carried on, arms behind her back and walking rather childishly with her legs kept straight.
Total opposite of another Krityan he knew.
"I can't help but wonder," Flynn said to himself, "if maybe, thanks to torrent, your Artes have returned to you, Yuri? Try it out sometime soon."

It was seriously 'Piss Off Yuri' Day, wasn't it? Still, as Vera marched onwards, he did his best to just ignore and continue on, muttering under his breath. "Right. I'll test out Torrent... later. For now? We need shelter," he said in response to... Flynn, probably. "Well, we'd better get to a town unless someone has—"
A familiar bark suddenly came from the distance, causing Yuri to turn and locate the source, very nearly getting knocked over by a bounding blue ball of fur. He narrowly dodged, looking to find—
"Repede!"
"Your pet?" Tohru questioned, looking down at the blue... dog? The bark of irritation startled him, and he instinctively stepped away from the animal, resisting the urge to draw out his dagger.
"Repede is not a pet," Yuri corrected, earning a bark of approval from said being. "He's a dog, and a proud one at that. Not that he thinks he's on the same level as humans, but he doesn't like being called a pet."
"I... see... " Strangest. Dog. Ever.
"So, Repede, what d'you have there?" Yuri asked, indicating the pack on the dog's shoulder. The blue creature barked once, coming closer and allowing Yuri to remove the traveling pack on his back. The long-haired male examined its contents, soon grinning pretty cheerfully. "Great. We're set for a while: Gels, Pancea Bottles, some food, and a tent." He decided now would be as good a time as any to slip Second Star into the bag, lessening his load and allowing him to carry Torrent a little easier.
He really needed to find a way to make it smaller... somehow.
Repede's quizzical look didn't go by unnoticed, and Yuri only pat the dog on the head before standing up, indicating that he'd tell him later. It was obvious to him that Flynn's so-called 'Diplomat from Another World' was uncomfortable with Repede in and of himself, and talking out loud with his favourite companion would probably just add to the guy's list of 'Crazy Happenings on Terca Lumereis.'
"Well. Let's get going then. Capua Nor, right?"
And with that, he easily led the group, setting an easy pace.

Karol looked around, and turned to everyone. " I'll go get some firewood! " He told them, wanting to be at least a little bit helpful. He then ran off, grabbing some logs that were laying on the floor, he grabbed three of them into his hands at once, they were only tiny logs though. While picking up the logs, staring off toward the lights of a nearby town, wondering where Raven had gone, not to mention where everyone that had once been on there first journey had gone.
