1. No power-play. Power-playing is when you control someone else's character without their permission. For example :
Power-play:
Character A Punched character B in the face and sent them flying into a wall.
Not Power-play:
Character A clenched a fist and ran at character B to punch him, and hoped character B wouldn't have time to react.
2. Post in THIRD PERSON. As in, adjectives should be "He, her, she" and not "I, me".
3. Character creation:
If you would like to create an original character, follow the template provided in the Registration board. Failure to follow the template means your character will not be considered.
4. Cannons:
Cannon characters will be appearing every so often. To apply for a cannon character position, use the template in the Registration board.
5. All posts must be at least a full seven to ten sentences in the role play. No cheating with one word sentences. And if someones posts a long post for you, take the time and have the courtesy to try to post just as long or longer than the person before you. Can't think of what to put? Describe what your character sees or hears, pick out little things they might notice. Pm the admin for proper role play guidance if you need it. Special thanks to Rin for this rule.
6. Romance:
Romance is fine. Encouraged, even! However, there is to be none of the forbidden dance going on. This means that, if clothing starts to come off, you WILL get warned. Hugs, kisses, holding hands, those are fine. Do not go beyond where you would consider public appropriate. If you start thinking to yourself that you would never do something out at the mall, or with friends, don't post it!
7. Violence:
One of the pure essences of the Tales universe is special moves, weapons, and violence. As of right now, every form of weapon and magic is acceptable. However, please do not exaggerate the gore without proper warning on your post. Killing cannons is FORBIDDEN. To kill a character, you absolutely MUST contact the person in control of the character, and the BOTH of you consult an administrator to confirm if it is allowed.
8. Please keep personal an private information as such: PRIVATE! I know this is a friendly, fun place, but that doesn't disqualify the dangers of giving out personal information online. Please be safe and be smart, and keep your real identity a secret. I know most of the people who join already know each other by name, but please understand that the web can be dangerous. Keep personal discussions private.
9. Signatures:
We all have fun with signatures. But, since this roleplay is known for having multiple people controlling multiple characters, I have one personal request: Somewhere in your signature, please put all of the characters you play.
10. Posting:
When you post, please do not lump all your characters in one post. The website format was created so that people could post together without losing the roleplay, and to be less confusing than throwing ten characters in one post. When posting, please put the name of the character at the top of the post so we know who it is you are posting with. Include names in posts, such as "Kratos, Yuri" to signal that the thread is locked for only those characters mentioned.
11. The password:
Include the word "Destiny" in your character profile. This is a must, both to ensure that you read the rules and to show me you paid attention to them.
