So, I went for a physical exam today. The performing nurse(who was my age, and hot) gave me the regular procedures, we made small talk, she was pretty clearly hitting on me. But anyway, after that I got a Varicella vaccination(Chicken Pox, for those curious), and a PPD test(for tuberculosis).
I left the clinic, and during my class the nurse called me. She told me that, compiling together my lifestyle habits, medical health of the family, and past history, I should not even be alive. However, she also told me that, oddly enough, not only am I alive, but I am thriving on my high junk diet. She explained that, the only reasonable explanation for this is that my body isn't normal.
So I asked "Well, is it dangerous?"
She said "It's evolution."
She flat out explained, my body has the unique ability to create ATP from more than the average human being can. That my body breaks down more substances than Carbs to get it(Most humans use carbs like Glucose for energy) and, in fact, my body can break down so many substances for energy use that the only explanation was that I have a mutated digestive system which is capable of digesting and absorbing things that, in the human body, would normally be useless.
Of course, we haven't DONE actual tests, but she said the only way I could be alive right now considering the lifestyle I live and the med history is for a mutation to be in place.
Now's where it gets fun.
Because of this, she said I absolutely, positively, CAN NOT follow the food guide pyramid, or any dietary guide. I have to explore the food varieties of the world and see what works for me, and make a diet based on that. Basically, she said "There's no way somebody with your habits and conditions should be alive. You're a mutant."
Which, by the way, makes me the next step in human evolution. Do you guys know what that means?
I'm totally, absolutely, SUPERHUMAN.
So here's my opinion on this;
She's an LNA, so she doesn't have as reliable a word as a doctor, but she has to know a LOT of information on the body to get that license. So, she suggested I run a blood sugar test and a few digestive tests next time I'm in the clinic. But it is hers, and my, firm belief that I am an evolved human being. Does this make me superior? No. It does, however, make me a biological experiment of nature.
