Clinging to the corner of of this diary's pages are doodles. Some are complete--a notable one being of what appeared to be three people, holding hands--and yet there are some left half-done. Such as a flower missing a few petals, or a detailed pattern trailing off into smudged paper and a forgotten daze.
The hand-writing is cursive, yet written in a sloppy, fast manner. A sign of impatience.
Wow, it's been a while since I've written in you, huh? You were probably thinking I'd forgotten all about you. I guess the only reason I remembered is because... a lot happened today. Gauche seems like she has a lot on her mind, so I figured you were the next best thing.
First of all, we arrived in Zaphias to meet some guy (but he bailed on us, the jerk) and we ended up meeting another. Yuri Lowell. Y'know, of Brave Vesperia? Yeah, the ones who...
Anyway, me'n'Gauche couldn't help ourselves. We'd sworn revenge and everything, so we acted on it. But it didn't work out, 'cause this girl named June started trying to talk us down, saying stuff about how she understood what we were going through.
I guess it's kinda hard to believe a person when they say that. I mean, I can barely understand what I'm going through or feel. Sorta surreal sometimes. Like, an emptiness. Yet there's something big as a boulder clanking around in my stomach, too. Weird.
Unfortunately, she talked to us long enough for someone to get the Knights. Don't worry, I'm not writing in you from a jail cell. We got away in time; they probably didn't even see us.
But the funny thing is, we met up with June again later and we talked a lot. She told us about her world, about went happened to her. Truth be told, but I think it's more like I don't know what she's going through. But as we kept talking, it turns out Gauche knows someone that June knows, too. And even met up with some guy named Skade that she mentioned. Back in Halure, too, which has been more than a few months ago. June had been talking about going off on her own, but I guess she must've realized three is better than one, 'cause she wants to come with us so we can find this girl.
I'm a little nervous, actually. Gauche hasn't kept anything from me since we were seven, and that was because of a birthday gift.
Maybe a good night's sleep will help.
I guess you'll hear from me again when I remember you.
