This is one chapter of the world history of Neganite, as requested by Cao. This segment covers the following events:
- Great Bandit Raid
- Discovery of the Cult Draconis
- Murder of Sylvia Magnum
- Daisuke Kohma's roles in the world
- The execution of Roland Gungnir
- The founding of Magnum University
- Magnum's rise to power
-The division of nations caused by Zephyrus
Geographical features notable in this segment:
Hawk Village:
A quiet mountain village, home to many men and women. On this mountain lie high cliffs and jagged peaks, all leading up to the village, a short way from the very highest peak. It is on this mountain that Daisuke and his childhood friends, Drey and Lyon, were born.
Magnum University:
A thriving university town, in which all citizens are either students or teachers. It is clearly a world ahead of the rest of the world, as it has paved streets of tar, high steel buildings and artificial light. Such things are not seen anywhere else in all of Neganite.
Spire Labyrinth:
A gruesome, bitter cold land under control of Zephyrus. With his modifications, it became a labyrinth filled with giant monsters, and stretched all the way to the peak of Mt. Faust, where it is rumored that Zephyrus lives. The temperatures there have destroyed all life on the landscape, except the monsters.
All other events took place in unrecorded environments, and thereby cannot be properly documented.

The Great Bandit Raid
All began quiet on this day. The members of Hawk Village went about the daily routine of their lives. It was the turn of one boy to herd the cattle; Daisuke Kohma. His easily frightened sister Kendall came with him that day, as did Lyon, her husband. As they were all out of the village, they heard a bang. Upon returning they found everything ablaze, even people. At the front of the pack was Raphael, who was Daisuke and Kendall's brother.
There was no way out of this mess, so they tried to run, only to be headed off by Zephyrus. Daisuke blacked out, only to find that his sister hadn't survived, and that Lyon's whereabouts were unknown. He found himself at a campfire that night with Drey Mirroheart, the groups other friend. History still doesn't know what this man looks like, as he has always been documented in a mask of onyx, and red robes that flow so heavily, even his height and weight are unknown.
The two traveled to Doul-Eed, the home of Drey's father, Ike. They explained the situation and were approved to train with him, and were joined by a new recruit; The mage, Jamie Faye. At first very rude and princess-esque, Jamie warmed up to them quickly. They spent three years training under Ike, and during this time, Skade was born. Daisuke got wind of a monster terrorizing the nearby villages, and made it his objective to hurry off and fight it. He was greeted by, and tortured by, his own brother, turned into a monster.
Jamie and Drey at this point saved his life, but Daisuke was too far off the insane dock to be any kind of useful, so, Drey had an idea. Something to balance out the unstable mana of his friends, as it became known during the training that Kohma mana was like a diabetic person's insulin; They needed to get it from an outside source. Drey disappeared from the group that day, not heard from again for several more years.
Jamie and Daisuke were alone now, and grew closer because of it. They completed their training together, and soon decided to be together. Both in their early teens at this point, it was only in their natural curiosity to get into a lot of trouble. Eventually, they wandered into a cult meeting. Cult Draconis, as they later discovered. This was where Daisuke first saw a monster; The cultists managed to CAPTURE a fire-hopper(A common monster, a one legged dragon with three eyes) and were bathing in it's blood.
Daisuke and Jamie quickly destroyed the monster, sparing it the pain of a slow bleed-out, and then dealt with the cultists. Jamie was recorded here as the first human to use magic, possibly due to the fact that she had been exposed to raw mana from the monster.
Join the two another few years down the road, at age 21. They have met with and made a contract with Sylvia Magnum to help her build her university. The reward for this was her notes on Zephyrus' labyrinth. Halfway through the construction, she was murdered by none other than Skade. Though, nobody at the time knew it was Skade, because he was under the guise of Roland Gungnir. The area around the unfinished Magnum University was swallowed by dark mana, making it inaccessible to the rest of the world.
The real Roland Gungnir was executed by the kingdom that Zephyrus had under his control. Magnum University was abandoned, until Drey came back bearing three weapons; A greatsword, a dagger, and a scythe. He said that Daisuke could use it to imbibe mana and return to full strength. Using this, he sucked in all of the dark mana, giving himself dark, black eyes and giving the sword itself a black tint, with seemingly red veins. This was the birth of Torrent.
The trio decided to finish Magnum University in memory of Sylvia's dreams, and in time it grew to be the epicenter of the free world. Eventually, over several hundred years(Far beyond Daisuke's lifespan, and even after Heath's passing, putting this in June's lifetime) it became the central government of the world that had not yet been taken over by Zephyrus. The God as he was now known had divided the world, and those that didn't choose to follow him were forced to abide by Magnum's laws.
